This was the first bar I went to when I moved to Wilmington 15 years ago. Memories of the best Thursday night karaoke there ever was and the smell of rotten eggs and stale air are burned into my brain. If the old pool tables could tell their stories, they'd talk of tournaments, bikers, bad singers, and alot of laughs. The drinks were cheap, and the floor was uneven, but the company was always good. It felt local, and it felt like a secret only the struggling to survive, the odd, and the eccentric, and the queer knew about. The place was old and grungy but it had history in every corner, even down to the creepy bathroom walls. Over the years, it cleaned up...some, and Downtown Wilmington began to change around it. When we said goodbye to its neighbor, Longstreet, we all knew it would only be a matter of time before Ortons followed. It actually lasted longer than I think most of us expected. Now, with the number of high end cocktail bars serving $16 drinks and staple dives slowly disappearing, I realize how much of a gem this place really was. You never know what you have until its gone. I hope Ortons comes back soon, and if it does, I hope its still the same Ortons, maybe minus the sewer smell.

Best bar in Wilmington. It has pool, ski ball, well drinks at affordable prices and a dog. We got to meet Bailey, the sweetest pup in the world and she is worth the trip alone. This is the only beer we went to that didn't have a douchebag frat boy vibe oozing out of the walls. Just a good bar. Oh yeah and there is ping pong!

This place was a cool spot to hang, play a few games of pool, and play some ping pong. Staff was nice. Atmosphere was alright, though it could be improved for sure. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place regardless!

Great little hideaway downstairs in downtown Wilmington. They have plenty of tables to choose from as well as skee ball. I went after work and a few locals joined in a few games which was nice to have competition. And the random dog made it even better. Pool, beer and pups !!

Fun atmosphere lots of different games to play. Pool, Skeeball and Ping Pong!! Good selection of beer!!

Great atmosphere. You can definitely feel the nostalgia in this place. A little loud for a date location, but centrally located near a wide variety of restaurants. Staff has always been pleasant and they have a pretty decent drink selection.

Where the hell is this place now 😭. Nobody knows where it is. Lol
