Our stay at the Orli was simply WONDERFUL!!! What a gem!! There was nothing left to chance & every little detail had beautiful touches of elegance, creativity & thoughtfulness. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any questions or needs — they were all so nice, professional and helpful. Every person that we had the pleasure of meeting seemed authentically invested in making the Orli a truly special place & experience for their guests. The rooms were meticulously kept & squeaky clean, the beds were SUPER comfortable, and there were too many special touches to begin to count :) Suffice it to say we felt genuinely cared for — a true home away from home. Located in a quiet neighborhood area of La Jolla, but still central and easy walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go — the beach, shopping & restaurants. We are so happy to have found this lovely gem, and can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you so much to our new friends at the Orli — you made our stay special and truly memorable!! With love & appreciation, Joe & Hege.
This was by far one of the best properties we have stayed at. It’s a unique concept with the concierge being your contact but it is like a home stay if you want it to be. We ended up working with many of the great concierges during our stay and all went above and beyond to make our stay special. No ask was too much. That means even delivering a microwave to our room! Do note there are no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage you may wish to stay on the lower level. A shout out to Omar for going above and beyond. He truly got his workout in helping us out! Take advantage of all the offerings they have. It truly makes the stay extra special.
This small boutique hotel is a gem, with well appointed rooms, quality bed and shower, lovely building exterior and courtyard. The soothing air/aroma was relaxing. Above all, the super friendly and helpful concierge(s) made our stay a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend, and stay again.
Our stay at the Orli was perfect! My son’s wedding was in La Jolla last weekend and the Orli was our home-base for three days. We even hosted the Welcome Event and a Farewell Brunch in the beautiful and meticulously maintained courtyard. And the staff were so nice and helpful with these events! Specifically, Omar and Mia were wonderful to work with, so very kind and incredibly gracious. We adored them! The larger rooms were used as the bridal suite and groomsmen’s room (to get ready) and each room was exquisitely appointed with no small detail missed. The Orli is a perfect blend of a historic property with all of the modern appointments. It’s just stunning! The lobby space is very comfortable and feels like a combination of a library/speak-easy with small touches like cold brew, filtered water, and kombucha on tap. So thoughtful. The Orli Is an unassuming surprise in La Jolla and we can’t wait to go back!
Incredible experience from start to finish. This boutique hotel smelled amazing upon walk-in. The concierge was so nice and let us check in early, helped with bags and were kind the entire time. The room was amazing and clean. Location was walkable and parking through the hotel was easy. The complimentary tea, coffee and kombucha was the best in the morning. Would 100% come again!!
Just book it, you will not be disappointed! Orli is beautiful. It is one of the best renovations I’ve seen of a historic building. They spared no details! The rooms are all different and modern. The courtyard is awesome for coffee in the morning, a cocktail in the evening or a good book. It is all a vibe! The hotel and grounds are clean! The staff was top notch and wanted to make sure our trip stress free. Jordan and team thank you for everything… until next time! The Huffs
Wow! Where do I even begin?! Our stay here was top notch in literally every aspect. Not only was the hotel's design drool worthy, the attention to detail was really what made our stay outstanding. They had fresh pastries every morning, a cold brew bar in the lobby, fun games spread throughout the courtyard, they even had bikes for guests to use (everything we needed was so close walking, we never got a chance to take advantage of the bikes- next time!). It was our first weekend away from our two babies, and the staff made this the most relaxing and magical experience. I can't wait to return and explore the other unique rooms and take advantage of more of their thoughtful amenities. Thank you to everyone at Orli!
Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and the ocean. Greeted by the concierge when we arrived and assisted with our luggage. The lobby, grounds, and guest room were all very clean. Parking was available for free right out front between the hours of 6pm and 8am. That worked with our schedule of activities, otherwise we would have needed to purchase a parking pass at a nearby lot. The Bunk Room was a perfect fit for two. We liked having the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Definitely stay here again.
We had a wedding party stay here in January. The hotel is run down, tiles missing in bathroom, some of our party had floods in their rooms, and some of our party checked in and had to leave due to numerous problems with the room. It is not worth the

Cam was a great guide for my first ocean dive with my friend. All the provided gear was in good condition, dive plan was clearly communicated and any questions we had about the area and what we would be seeing were answered. We both had a great time
Imagine starting your day in a coastal paradise, with the gentle rhythm of the waves as your soundtrack. Welcome to Cuvier Park, an exquisite spot nestled right by the ocean. With sweeping, majestic views that seem straight out of a postcard, this pl
I absolutely love this beach! From dolphins to the occasional seal, this beach has everything you would want. Parking is plentiful especially if you get there early. The state park has lots of parking on both side of the highway as well. It's a beaut
The Childrenâs pool also known as Casa Beach, is worth a visit if youâre already by La Jolla Cove. Itâs a small beach area where you can see seals and sea lions swimming and lying on the beach. Free admission. You should be able to find free pa

La Jolla Shores is one of the best beaches in San Diego (arguably the best). There is about a mile of sandy beach with good waves for playing or surfing. The southern end is also a good place to snorkel: guitar fish, regular fish, lobsters, crabs, le
Great beach set at the base of the cliffs. Amazing back drop and listening to the waves is awesome. The dress code is friendly to all, itâs totally optional and youâll see people running along the beach, playing volleyball, sun bathing, and swimm
Unplanned lunch pit stop to the Promiscuous Fork, and so glad we made it. Kind of tight indoor quarters but cool outside seating area. If youâre a garlic lover then you will love the âyuk-mouthâ. Buns were buttered and toasted to perfection. Wi
This review is for the margarita pizza. Best thin crust Neapolitan style pizza Iâve had so far in SD, and I am a TOUGH critic. It satisfied the craving. Love the romantic cozy vibe and the view as well. Great date spot but I went solo and sat at th
