Original Sobelman’s on St. Paul - Bar & grill in Milwaukee - 1900 W St Paul Ave, USA

We had the whole fried chicken on a Bloody Mary. Although the food was very tasty, the drink was not the best one. In addition, we were told that the food was enough for 5 people, and we were 4 and we barely were full. Besides that, it was a good experience although I probably won't come back.

You can't go to Wisconsin and not have cheese! We ate the cheese cracks and they were delicious! The only complaint they came out last but the waitress never forgot about them! I will suggest if you sit outside the barrels are a little uncomfortable and awkward but they do have other options for outside seating! The food was amazing and the service was great, I'd definitely come here again if I had the chance!

My wife and I are here from Georgia on a visit, and decided that Sobelman’s was a must. Morgan was an amazing server; attentive, friendly and helpful. We had the Loser burger, along with bacon cheese crack appetizers. Delicious! After dinner we met Dave Sobelman and had a great conversation. Wonderful history of building, business and philosophies of his restaurant. Certainly a business that could plop anywhere and be amazing! Thank you again! I've been here many times. This time I had the patty melt was really good. It was fairly busy. It's about a 15 minute wait which wasn't bad. The condiments on the bloodies are really fresh. Yes

We sat at the bar for lunch. Started out with the amazing beast $20 bloody Mary. It was an absolute delight. Sobelman burger tested like old time burgers do. A 5 all around for food hospitality and ambiance.

We went to this place during our family trip based on a recommendation from somebody we ran into at a park. I could not decide what to get, so I went with the sausage sampler, and it did not disappoint. My boys both had burgers, and my wife had a wrap. Everyone was happy with what they gotten! Morgan was an excellent server when we were there!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Food was great. Drinks were spectacular. Just look at that bloody Mary! Price was fair. Wonderful service. Highly recommend making this a stop.

I usually like sobelmans, but I had a pretty bad experience here lately. Our two burgers came out a bit dry, then once I was halfway through eating my burger, I bit into a plastic label showing "9-20" cooked into my burger (see picture, the day was 9/23). I showed this to our server, and she said she would "fix the bill." Once the bill came back, I noticed she deducted the less expensive burger ordered by our party, while the more expensive burger was the one with the plastic cooked in. I understand mistakes happen, but the correction for the mistake was less than satisfactory
