Bar none the best of all steaks I've ever had in a restaurant. Mushrooms are also delicious and frankly absolutely a bargain in terms of what you get. I consider myself a pretty decent steak maker but I simply can't do what they do. Doesn't hurt the pasta is damn delicious too! 11/10

Reppin the 49ers all and still the same classic eatery I remember as a youngin! Came at 4pm opening and were seated with a large group instantly. Delicious food and amazing service! Make sure you park in the correct parking GARAGE on 2nd and San Carlos! The lot with the huge mural will charge even if you’ve been there 90 minutes! GO NINERS!!!!

Revisited Original Joe's for the first time in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and came out quick. I especially enjoyed my Steak and Sausage Rigatoni. Our waitress seemed very busy but checked on us often and only forgot something once. I was surprised that you are now charged for bread if you want that as part of the meal but the entrees were so large we did not miss the extra food.

Very lively restaurant in downtown San Jose. The wait for a table was not bad but the food took ages to arrive once we'd ordered. The portions are quite big, think Cheesecake Factory. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious at first, but after a couple of bites the sauce made the food soggy which took away the crunchy texture I like. As for the pasta, we had the mostacioli which even though it was plentiful was not very tasty. I would not recommend. Also, the light train runs right outside, giving "Jurassic Park" vibes as the place shakes like if there were a T-Rex coming towards you.

First place in the States where I’ve had soda not tasting chlorine! And the food was just AMAZING. The charbroiled chicken was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables was not too tender, just the way I love it. We shared a five layer cake for dessert. The portions are huge, so next time we’ll share one. The staff was super friendly and our waiter; Frank, has ‘it’. The charm, friendly energy and was very service minded. Some comment the service is a bit slow, and I’d have to agree, but it is very much worth the wait. Even the tap water tastes great, and I’m hard to please in that manner.😂

This place is busy all the time. It is a local spot that is packed every night. Get there early or you're going to have a hard time finding a place to sit. The food is not bad, it's not the best I've ever had but it's good. The ravioli there is not bad. Drink. Prices are a little expensive but that's downtown San Jose for you. I don't blame this restaurant. The atmosphere is interesting because this is a very old restaurant so you can see motifs from the 50s and '60s. Overall a good place.

Good food, great service but the table there are so small, not good for group of people, if you are under 6, they sitting you at a small table whatever available. Recommended group from 2 - 4, or just size up to 8 to 10 to get bigger table.

My go to for big meaty meals in San Jose. Lots of steak, sandwich and pasta dishes, as well as other meals. The meals are always large and delicious. I just with they had smaller steak sizes for all their streaks.
