This place is the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to in Baton Rouge. The food was very fresh and with great flavor. Everything was very well taken care of and clean, including the restrooms. Whenever I’m craving Chinese. I will definitely be coming here. Great job!

If you’re looking for a fresh, moderately priced Chinese buffet, this is the place for you. The staff is nice and the food gets replenished at an appropriate pace. This is one of the only places that doesn’t make my stomach hurt afterwards.

Absolutely amazing! Food is always hot and delicious and I have never had problems with staff. The soft serve is sooo good I ate 2 cones last time I went. Their sweet and sour chicken is expertly crispy and the sweet and sour sauce is great for everyone needing something with the chicken. I definitely recommend coming here!

We got there about 4PM. The ladies working were friendly. We had their buffet which had a good selection of dishes. The service was great and the food was fresh. The sushi also tasted freshly made and was going quick as they put it out. I recommend it if you are in the area.

It was a take out. I have there fries and chicken it was horrible. The grease was old. The shrimp fried rice was good but had a lot of extra items like egg shells, twist tie, and shrimp peelings.

We eat here almost weekly. Has good selections and it is the only place that I eat sushi!. It is always fresh and delicious! Everyone there is like family to us. Also has soft serve! Yum

Recently oriental pearl on Sherwood has been consistently better than Hunan, which is across the street. The best time is always after the first wave of diners have devoured the first batch of food, and the food is then replenished. I don't know if they are called vermicelli noodles, but the white noodles were excellent. The sesame chicken was very good. The chicken on a stick was very good. The dim sum or pot stickers were good and had a pineapple soy dipping sauce to accompany it. The hot and sour soup was good. The garlic shrimp were excellent. The beef as well as chicken dishes were good. The salt and pepper shrimp were good. The fried rice was a C. It could have used a little something. The presentation and freshness was there but it was missing that aromatic vibe that classic fried rice usually has. I don't like mayo sauce on my sushi, so I did not try any. I consistently go to this location. The service is always great. The owner is always friendly, and the whole crew works hard. I will go back. Check them out when you are in the area.

I visited this restaurant for the first time 11/18/23. I saw bad reviews but decided to give it a try. I wasted my money. The buffet is very small and has few options, the food was cold and the waitresses stand up and watch you eat and talk about you in their language if you leave a crumb on your plate . I could not find one item that tasted good.$14.95 per person plus they add a gratuity of 15% to your check without your permission and if you are not white expect to be talked about ,ignored and served last. They made me and my family feel unwelcome and we all left hungry.Do not waste your money like I did.
