It was an adequate place to stay. I didn't get murdered or anything...sooo that's good. No frills. Rigid policies, especially about using towels. They said if you got your towel dirty they would charge you $25...for a small, crappy, rough as sandpaper towel. Yikes!
Stayed here with my wife and kids for 4 nights great customer service from the front desk very helpful they have printed out the food and drinks locations in the town, rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable overall great experience highly recommend.
Surprisingly well appointed rooms, clean & tidy, staff at the front desk were friendly & very responsive. Exceeded expectations by quite a bit to be honest
Low cost, but didnt have a shower curtain, and toilet leaking on floor. A friend had shower head spraying on ceiling, and another didnt have working coffee maker
Booked through and pre-paid an online service so apparently the "we have dogs" box didn't transfer to attendant. Ok, here's our credit card. But she chose to use "you didn't tell us" language so we didn't get off to best start. |Then a punitive dog policy was thrust at my husband. 20$ per night per dog,...so why then point out $300 fee if they "shed" on your beautiful, 70 year old amenities. Pictures provided. |I pretended we were camping and just got through it. |There's also a towel policy, children, if you spill your coffee, you're not to use crappy hotel towels to clean up. I guess use your own clothing to avoid a $25 fee, per towel. |We got out alive. My suggestions would be |a) lower your standards. Not a lot of choices |B) overlook the DNA sample of a chair |C) maybe hoteliers could provide old sheets to cover beds to dog owners and old towels for an unintentional coffee spill. Water in Lakeview is a terrible problem but why punish paying, weary travelers over it? Lobby City Hall about what they did with the $9+million the state gave them three+ years ago to repair water lines would be a better use of their time. |I do hope these guys get their property renovated and develop a sense of gratitude to those of us paying them.
Booked in for 1 night on our way to Boise. The owner called us before we arrived to get an ETA as they wanted to ensure our room was ready. When we did arrive the room was fully prepared and the customer service is exceptional. The description and pictures on the website are true representation of what you get. Inexpensive, clean and friendly hosts who are very attentive. Not disappointed at all.
This was my co-worker and i. First time ever staying here at this hotel. And my boss paid for a week so we can work there in Oregon and The owners are extremely nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very very clean. I had a problem with my refrigerator and I went and talked to the owners about it and they replaced the frigerator with the new one. I will come back in stay again
I stayed there twice this summer. I accidentally left my ring in the room. I was called later that day. I asked if it could be mailed. I was told yes and gave my address. This was late June. This is late September now. I have called several more times and assured it would be mailed. I have sent money for postage. Nothing. Customer satisfaction is obviously not important.
