This place is well worth the 4 mile drive through a one lane gravel road to the trail head. There was not much traffic going there when we visited, but it could become tricky if you have to cross other vehicles. High clearance vehicle is not required. There is a pit toilet at the trail head and spot for 15 vehicles. The hike itself is not strenuous, and joyous.
I didn't do the hike because we got there so late in the day. This is bear country, but I'd bet mountain kitties also come here. The road up here is single track to be careful. We felt a bit of slip so we engaged xmode but you may not need it. There are private residences along the single t track road. They want you to stick to the road. Do it.
There is a vault toilet and a trail map that you can take a pic of at the top. There is no cell service so bring up your Hikerr or All Trails and download the maps before you leave civilization. The trail preview looks like you nay have some steep trail.

Hidden gem..the hike is only 3/4th of a mile. But to get there , you need to use gravel narrow hilly road and is very adventurous. Must visit for anyone visiting the redwood national park.
The trail was great but the drive to the parking lot is one lane road. Car is able to make it with careful driving. Pull outs are small
The road heading to the trail is gravel, one way, quite a bit of deep pot holes, and tree branches lying about.
The area is quiet and good for relaxation.
If possible call and verify whether the road is passable. Got mostly up the single track road to the trailhead and came across many many downed trees. We were able to move some earlier trees and large branches but then came across large trunks. Had to turn around on the very narrow road and go back down hill. The drive there and what we were able to get through was gorgeous, wish we could have hiked it.
So, I'm a little over 300lbs and need ankle surgery and I was able to walk this trail! It's gorgeous and easy. Worth the hike!!
Recently had the pleasure of training at this amazing gym. Iâve been fortunate enough to have trained all over this country and even some other oneâs. This was by far one of my best experiences. Super friendly easy going staff. Incredible equipme
Today was my first time going here, and at first I blew right past it on my bike. I stopped, turned around and thought "hm, this place looks kinda cute. I'll give it a shot." The interior was lovely, the drink I got was delicious too! I can find myse
A very charming store and haven for nerds! The shopâs got some very cool stuff, including handmade 8-bit wall decor, drawings by the owner, dice, cards, figurines. I picked up a cute pair of Grogu earrings. Owner is a very friendly guy who let me b
Best rock fishing trip we've been on. The crew was EXCELLENT! They were always on hand to assist if needed. Everyone was very laid back and very fun to spend the day with. They were always changing spots so we could locate as many fish as possible.
Absolute hidden gem. Love this place. So full of character and clear passion for what they do. Amazing beer, great service, super fun location. If you're a nerd and/or beer fan, this is a must see.
Made multiple stops throughout the park and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. Some have moderate hikes so be mindful of what youâre getting yourself into. What goes down must come back up. We canât wait to come back and see more!
Might just be the most beautiful hike on the Oregon Coast. The views make you think you're in New Zealand or Ireland. Then you get to the end and you feel like you're just standing at the edge of the world.
Saw very few people on a warm December wee
The best fudge I have ever had! This store is absolutely amazing. The man that owns and makes a lot of the candy is super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. We stopped by on vacation to grab some gifts and candy, but left with the best homemade fudge
