We so enjoyed our stay at Oregon Garden Resort! We found our room to be quiet and comfortable. The room was a nice size, and we really liked the lay out, particularly the private patio. The bathroom was supplied with nice products. We found everything to be clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed being able to walk to dinner right on the property. Truly an enjoyable, memorable stay. Highly recommended.
The resort was beautiful and just extremely peaceful. The rooms were tastefully decorated, quiet, and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were the softest pillows I've ever experienced at a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I forgot my grandmother's rings when I checked out, and they were very prompt in letting me know I had done so, but quickly made arrangements to get the rings back to me.
This resort was a perfect location for our trip from Seattle to Northern California. It looked like a nice place to visit, but it was much more. The resort was clean and beautiful, the people were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The resort was large with grounds for walking, but the best treat was the Oregon Garden, which is well worth the entry price. My wife enjoyed the town of Silverton which has nice shops. Warning: It is hard to leave the shops with buying something--at last for my wife. |We will return!
We’ve never stayed here before, however had heard wonderful things from friends and family. |We brought our 18/yo JRT, in that they are “dog friendly”. |We went to our room, which was dirty, walls, doors and baseboards were scratched, chewed, and the laminate floor was even peeling up! The bathroom had black mold around the entire tub. |I called the office, informed them of the state of the room. I even videoed the room, as I was afraid we would be charged for damages! We were offered another room, which we took. It was not in the best of shape either, but better than the previous one. There was however, dog poop left on the back porch.. it doesn’t appear the porches are cleaned or checked either. |Over all, this was no better than that of a standard hotel. |I am left to assume that “dog friendly” rooms are not where you want to stay here. |The staff were very nice
All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room and atmosphere are very nice but if you include resort in the title then I dock points for the things below. 1. The breakfast is pathetic. I have had better breakfast at discount hotels in Czech Republic. 2. The fact that gardens and restaurant cannot make some arrangement to at least offer discounted entry to the gardens is silly. You both sit on the same grounds and can only benefit from some kind of arrangement. 3. Single use plastic cups everywhere but then you claim to be green by asking guests to reuse towels. Again. Silly. 4. Someone left puked on flip flops in the parking lot. I saw multiple grounds crew just drive by on their golf cars leaving the mess. 5. Tip jar at a "complimentary" breakfast that was already a poor breakfast. This just adds to an already toxic tipping culture in the US. The pool was great, rooms were spotless but not up to the standards I would put as a resort.
Holy smokes! This place just blew me away! From the moment we pulled in, service was incredible (thank you, Jericho!), rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable, dinner at the restaurant was delicious, the complimentary breakfast absolutely blew me away, the pool/hot tub were so relaxing. Everything about this resort was 10/10. I wish I could stay here longer. I will certainly be back soon. Great job to the staff! Just an outstanding experience from start to finish!
The main reason I am writing this review is to warn the other 39% of the population who have back issues. When I stay at a hotel I am expecting high quality, premium beds. Unfortunately, the bed did not meet that need. We stayed in a room with a king bed that sunk down in the two spots where people would sleep. My husband and I realized this immediately upon entering the room and checking the bed. A staff member was cleaning another room and we asked to feel that bed. It was the same. We returned to the front desk and inquired about an alternate room that would have a firmer bed. We were told that all the beds are the same and were purchased 16 months ago. It was an uncomfortable night for me as I tried to stay perched on the center section that was a bit firmer so as to relieve the discomfort of the well on my side. As a whole, the resort is cute, the pool area is lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely kind. All that said, if you have back issues this is not the place for you
Traveling from Arizona, we were referred to this property from a couple we know here in Silverton. The highly recommended it, and after our stay, we know why! ||The property is absolutely beautiful! And the service and interactions with every member of the staff was delightful. Professional, but felt like family. My wife and I have actually decided to come back again next summer and stay longer.
Wow!! Absolutely the best Italian bread Iâve ever had! I had the burrata white pizza with mortadella and my husband had the Caprese focaccia sandwich. Both were excellent. The pizza crust had exactly enough bite without being chewy or dry. Took hom
My mother and I came in here for lunch and it was so fantastic I only have good things to say! I had the combo ramen and it was so amazing, the chicken fell right off the bone, the salmon was cooked to perfection and the broth was so nice with the pe
My friends and I love the history of Covered bridges and this one didn't disappoint; the Gallon House Covered Bridge was built in 1916 and has been repaired many times, just driving through it makes you feel you went through a time in history. There

Super cute place! The tacos were huge and in handmade tortillas which I loved and they came pretty quickly after ordering. They also had a Bakery inside with probably the best bread Iâve had in a while, in a wide variety. Definitely try the stuffed
I've been visiting this park for many years and it still has its older welcoming trees, great play equipment for the kids, newer restrooms, located next to Silver Creek, it has a walkbridge across the creek taking you to the library and Historical S
We visited the Oregon Garden at the beginning of September for a special homeschool day event. The gardens were beautiful! There were many different flowers, plants, and water features to see. It was a lovely walk. The kids had a lot of fun - there w
Found a little gem in a very unexpected place. The chicken strips were extraordinary as was the Bleu cheese dressing/dipping sauce. The patio out back has a divine garden with water feature
I love this restaurant! The restaurant I used to do my birthday at closed, and Guerra's has become my new spot. This is the second birthday I've had here and everyone is SO NICE! Saida was our server and she was attentive, kind, informative about the
Walked around Silverton today. Nice small town, not much to do there. If you walk around the Main Street youâll find some small shops and there was also a very small farmers market. For lunch we stopped at the Bistro & Bar. The food was delicious a
