Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small, and compact so it won’t take you long to get thru the displays. Fascinating Oregon history that every generation should know!! Plus you can make your own dogs tags! Very cool!
Great place for viewing our history. I am pleased to have viewed a brink placed there in honor of my father, who was a POW in WWII.
My 5 year old loves all things military so we made sure to make a stop while we were in town. All 3 of my boys enjoyed themselves and can't wait to go back.
My kids love all things military-related. This was an excellent museum that entertained my three boys with ages ranging from 7 to 13. It is a smaller space, but they get a lot of information in there and it is really well done. They have some really interesting stories as well as some local military-related information. A neat gift shop as well. Definitely worth a visit and very affordable pricing.
It was good place to check out the town. Curious why this kind of museum in Florence .... 25% population of Florence are Veterans that made museum by them and their families. Admission $5.00 Veterans. $4.00
Small museum but worth a visit, a somber reminder that freedom isn't free.

Absolutely the best coffee in Florence! Came across it on our drive home and am so glad we popped in. The coffee was incredible and the apple strudel was so delicious! The customer service was also wonderful and loved the atmosphere. Will definitely
This is my favorite place to stay in Florence even though it's not on the beach. It's on the river/bay and it's lovely. You pay a little extra for the unobstructed view but it's worth the $10 bucks or so. There's a big free breakfast if you're into t
