The pinnacle of perfection. Spotless, modern, comfortable room with all the amenities (especially the powerful, yet quiet air conditioner). Beautiful pool and spa. Killer bar. Lovely breakfast daily. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Unbelievable concierge services. I've never seen so many smiles or felt so welcome at any hotel before and I've been around. Anything you need or want, the folks at the Orchid Key Inn will make it happen for you.
Amazing place. Very clean. Great location. Centrally located to all the bars, and shops. Walking distance. A block away from scooter rentals. Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and had so many options.. The pool bar had all high end cocktails and the bartender was so nice. Always had fresh lemon ice water by the pool. Loved it, can’t wait to return. Our flight was canceled and we needed to stay an extra nighI, they accommodated us all. I will always stay there when I’m in Key West.
We had a fantastic trip! The room was great, very clean, and the snacks and fresh bottles of water and coffee in the rooms every day was a nice treat. The breakfast was perfect and exactly what you need to start the day. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The drinks at the bar were delicious, and the bar tenders were the best! Chris makes the best martinis and gave us great advice on where to go while in town. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the keys! Thank you for making our trip great!
The room we stayed in over looked the pool it was so peaceful. Our room was so nice cool and clean. The staff was amazing Kat helped with getting our golf cart set up to be delivered she helped us plan the days and map out the locations to visit Tito came through with authentic Cuban food recommendation. Janae had the wonderful breakfast fresh and well put together she was so nice as well. Lastly Alec was genuinely the sweetest bartender he made the best piña colada the only one remotely close was Pilar’s at Hemingway rum distillery. the staff was very helpful and very friendly.
The hotel was beautiful, quiet, and super clean. The staff was extremely friendly. They make excellent pina coladas and the continental breakfast had a nice variety. This hotel is in a great location. We could walk to so many places or catch the bus close by. We will definitely be back.
Located pretty much on the corner of Route 1 and Duval Street, this place is in a great location. About a 7-10 minute walk to the waterfront area and other popular bars, this area is relatively quiet at night.
From the moment you walk into the front office, you can tell this place is well managed. Everything is clean, neat, and well-appointed. Every staff member we met always daid hello and was smiling.
The building is a typical 50s motor lodge layout, with the pool in the center and the rooms surrounding it, making almost every room pool side. The rooms aren't as big as one would find in a quality hotel, but enough space to feel comfortable. Our room was pristine. Everything appeared to be in like new condition and very clean. Quality soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotion were in pump bottles, at the sink, and in the shower. Also, in the room is a full-size ironing board, a large safe, kureig coffee machine, and refrigerator.
The continental breakfast is one of the best I've seen. Bagels, breads, English muffins, Danish, muffins, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit salad, as well as fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and a variety of juices. I'm sure I'm missing something, so much food!
The on-site martini bar is small, with maybe 6 stools at a curved bar. It seems to be a popular place, as it is packed with people every evening. We did get drinks one day while lounging poolside. They were definitely worth the price.
We will definitely return here if we travel back to Key West again. It's the little things that make this place great. White tablecloths on the outdoor tables for breakfast, putting candles on all the poolside tables as dusk, and the staff. Plenty of staff, always willing to answer a question or help if they can.
Right off the busy Duvall Street but manages to feel like an oasis. Extremely attentive staff who seem like they genuinely care about the quality of our experience. Very nice daily breakfast. Modest nightly happy hour scene. Walking/ bike / scooter distance to everything, though parking also available for a reasonable nightly fee.
My husband and I were celebrating our 45th anniversary and we picked this adorable inn. It is retro in the outer building but don't let that scare you away. The rooms are gorgeous!!! With luxurious bathrobes, comfy beds, deluxe sheets and perfect pillows. The staff is outstanding and loved the happy hour every night and the FREE continental breakfast. Oh and let me add - NO RESORT FEES!
