I've been to a lot of Orangetheory studios and this is by far the worst one I've ever seen. Not only do they charge you $10 if it isn't your home studio (even if your home studio is already a premium location), they are not especially welcoming to cross-regional members.
Even though it's in a nice location with a cool atrium area where you can wait, the studio itself isn't very impressive and needs a lot of TLC that they clearly aren't willing to give it. I didn't even want to shower here because the facilities were small and uninviting. The worst part is that none of the lockers work (and I mean none of them). Most of them are stuck in the locked position despite being open, which means you can't actually close or lock them without obtaining the master key from the front desk, which it didn't seem like most regulars even bothered doing - and yet none of the regulars even seemed to bat an eye at the poor state of the lockers (clearly it's not a new issue). A bunch more lockers don't even lock at all and just spin endlessly.
The icing on the cake was when I asked the front desk whether any of the lockers worked, they claimed that they're supposed to be that way and that I just didn't know how to use them properly. They wouldn't admit that their lockers were just all broken, even though my home studio in Maryland has literally the same model of lockers and I never have any issues with them.
I'm never coming back to this studio and would advise anyone visiting from out of town just to take the Orange Line a few stops up to Assembly and go to the much nicer studio there that doesn't charge extra.
I love orange theory, I’ve never had an issue at any location before, I tried out the backbay location for the first time since I’m visiting Boston for the holidays & the front desk people were soooo unnecessarily rude. Specifically “tearra/tierra” or “tmoney” the Asian girl at the front desk checking in was soooo unhelpful, so rude and if I didn’t drive 40 minutes to get to this location I would’ve left because of her attitude alone. You will definitely lose business having someone as rude as her at the front desk.
My first time and hooked. Can’t believe I burnt almost 600 calories in 50 min. Great coaches guide you thru workout.
I always go to the 5am when I travel to Boston. This is not my home studio but the coach is always encouraging and welcoming and calls me by name. This is one of the many things that makes OTF amazing!
Now, I’ve been to many OTF studios , BUT BACK BAY IS HOME AND I LOVE EVERYONE THERE 💕 Special shout out to Marina, Josh, Abby, Danielle, Joy and Steph - AMAZINGGGGGG COACHING. They will push you and grab heavier weights (I
personally, LOVE THAT) 🫶🏾 also, special shout out to Anjalie, amazing SA!!!! They are all so so so so welcoming and I love coming everyday!!!
Love this studio!!! Great workout and great atmosphere. Paige’s artwork is STUNNING! I will DEFINITELY be back 🧡
I have been going to this studio for about 6 months and almost always have the best experience. The coaches are so positive and make sure to give feedback/corrections where needed and are so encouraging during workouts. Could not recommend more.
Very welcoming, especially the manager danielle was really nice and helpful solving an issue I had! I would defintely use this location again in the future

I never thought I'd enjoy rowing, especially in a class workout setting since I love working out by myself and doing my own thing. But this has been such a pleasant surprise and I love it!! The instructors are great (all women, woo!) and it's been so

Honestly itâs hard to put into words how important this gym is to me. I moved to the USA in early 2018, knowing only 1 other person. We now have what I would consider to be a large family full of friends who honestly, give me a reason to wake up in

Very clean and fully stocked gym with stuff for CrossFit, weightlifters and boxers. The staff there are also very helpful and pleasant, loved interacting with them. Iâll stay at Boston Park Plaza again just so that I can use them.
Iâve been absolutely blown away from the Brighton location orange theory! The gym has always been intimidating for me and I tried a ton of other workout classes that felt competitive or unreachable. This Orange Theory has always made me feel welcom

Iâm glad to have read the history behind this place and then visit. It makes it more worthwhile. At the MGH main entrance ask for directions. Do note you are only allowed to visit if there are no reservations.
The meat here is fully halal. The owner is super friendly. We tried the beef, lamb and tofu. All three were really good and tasty! Loved the flavors in each.
