Orangetheory Fitness - Gym in Merrick - 1976 Merrick Rd, USA

I love orangetheory and the workers are super ..The couches always go the extra mile ..After my workout today ..I was informed about a new policy .The policy is the member is aloud to sign up for there number station in the class half hour before ..which always was ..BUT now the policy changed You are not aloud to sign up with your station number and leave the studio ie maybe relax in the car in the front or sit outside ..You MUST stay inside the studio . IfYou are never late for class or even simple just not show up ..why must you have to sit inside the studio .. As a member for a long time ..I sign up and sit in car to work on private things ..it’s annoying to know we have to sit inside studio.. The reason for signing in earlier is bc the classes fill up bc like I said it’s a good fast workout ..I find this to be a weird policy..wondering how others feel about this change .

I've only had a few workouts so far and my experience has been great! The routines are different each time, the equipment is modern and the gym doesn't feel crowded. Front desk staff have been very helpful sorting out some initial account setup problems and answering all of my questions. There is plenty of parking at the front.

I finally enjoy working out. The trainers at OT in Merrick are amazing and extremely motivational. The place is extremely clean, music is great, and your never bored. They make sure you work out every part of your body which is great for someone like me who has no idea what to do at a standard gym. I always look forward to going. The staff is always friendly and like I said the trainers are amazing. Love it. Worth every penny.

I had a free trial class here and was immediately hooked. They combine many exercises into each one-hour workout. You are never bored and the time flies by. Love that I can see how I’m doing right on the screen. Highly recommend!

I’m grateful to Orange Theory and my studio in Merrick. The hour goes fast, the weight, balance and functional exercises are expertly designed, the coaching is consistent and the HIIT always leaves me drenched. I've been getting decent results because OTF fits my lifestyle, stays motivating and helps me to avoid injury (big concern at my age.)*Group* is such an important part of the OTF experience, that and the positive supportive manners of the staff. All together, OTF Merrick studio has made a huge impact in my life. I'm all in, and at intervals, all out!

Going in there I was nervous because of my size, but that changed very quickly when I talked to one of the employees. I felt right at home. Such a team effort atmosphere, but your working on your individual goal. Classmates and the coaches are so encouraging, they help you pushing forward. There’s no such thing as giving up because there’s always someone there to keep you going.

I have been a’ member to many different gyms in New York and Long Island and I love the way Orangetheory runs their operation. The staff and instructors are amazing. Kristen and Ahriana are an absolute pleasure to work with and Christina. They are always smiling even at 7:30 a.m. and still smiling and super helpful on those late nights. The studio is kept immaculate. The instructors Sarah, Taylor, Mike, Ashley are so amazing!!! They make you work. Just coming to class to hear Sarah shout, “Let’s do it!!!” .., is worth it. And, Mike’s classic rock playlist is always on point. Thanks for the motivation ya”ll. See ya in class.

I like that it’s always different and that there are other choices available if I cannot do a certain exercise. I like that I’m helped if my form is incorrect so that I don’t get hurt. I like that I’m encouraged to increase speed and do more; but I’m able to go at my own pace. I like that the staff and coaches are helpful and friendly. As a founding member, I am so happy to be back at OTF Merrick!
