🎋 The best great price in town, location is very convenient, cleanliness & safety inside, plus services & rooms are very good according to the cost, and a good breakfast is included too. Overall, it’s a satisfactory inside! *Exception to outside and noises at night which is a one star, and San Francisco is very hard to find a very affordable place to stay if one expect it all perfect and unwilling to pay for a 5 star hotel that will cost an arm & a leg. I stayed two nights & shared a bunk bed, plus, I got an opportunity to meet a new good friend from abroad too. Also, I like the cleanliness kitchen that I can cook & make my own meals if I want it too; especially, if one is a Vegetarian. Anyway, thank you very much Orange Village Hostel, and proudly show my fresh, hot, delicious cooked Waffles, etc…❣️

Everything was really good. The room was actually quiter than I would expect, given the other guests and the fact it's a hostel (we stayed in a private queen bed room with ensuite bathroom). The room was on the corner of the building so it sometimes might have been noisy from the street, but again, much less that I would expect. Everything was clean when we arrived, bathroom- good size, hot water took a while to start running but nothing out of normal. Bed comfortable, there was a desk with a mirror, a fridge and microwave. Very good price for this central location and the amenities. Breakfast was basic but ok: cereals, milk, coffee, tea, juice, waffles, fruit and yogurt, bread and jam. There is, of course, the kitchen available if you need to cook.

Stay away from this hostel. It is located in a very bad area. Homeless and junkies are next to the doors and around. I was walking to my room when I saw one mental sick homeless was leaving I guess from shower !!!! The quality of the rooms are very poor and cheap as well. When I arrived it smelt very badly in the hall. They gave me one small towel for hands size !!! When I came to a room and chose a bottom bed it was without sheet🤦🏼‍♀️ the shower in the room so small what you can barely be inside. 0 stars

Équipements vraiment vieillots. Propreté moyenne. Même pas de minimum de toilette fourni à part une mini serviette. Hostel avec isolation du bruit quasi inexistante. Rue très bruyante la nuit. Quartier peu recommandé. Staff ok. Il faut aussi tomber sur des personnes agréables et respectueuses pour partager son dortoir. Je ne reviendrai plus jamais

Usually enjoy the stay here but I came back to my room and my clothes went missing, I asked the front desk and he didn’t do anything to help me immediately. I’m not sure who stole my clothes, but the only ones who could get into my room were the staff , I have no idea who stole my stuff but I’d recommend not using this hostel for the reason of mistrust on their employment team

It's OK with a particularly good breakfast but last time I stayed here I've felt grossed out by the smell in the room. Could be mold or even bed bugs. Also dust just scattered as I gathered my sheets before check out. Cleanliness isn't a priority here.

The staff is friendly. Location is good but a lot of homeless people around. Considering the price paid, it was a decent deal.

Incredibly friendly staff and clean rooms. Location isn't as bad as its reputation holds. Shared spaces not accessible to wheelchair users, but entrance rooms are.
