Orange Tree Inn - Featured Reviews (105)
Run by Husband and wife who live on premises and should not be in the hospitality business. Rooms are clean mostly no roaches or anything but the staff make you feel as if they dont want anyone to stay there I've stayed half a dozen times over the years and each time they make us feel unwanted. Once the husband just walked in the room while we were sleeping and was halfway in the room by the time I noticed. Each time they have not respected our privacy, mandatory "room cleanings" /inspections sleeping or not they will knock until you get up or in my experience just walk in half naked or not oh and you aren't allowed guests. So if you want to stay somewhere that makes a weekend at your disapproving, intrusive, nosey in-laws feel like home then the orange tree is the right place.
Oh and the spectacular view outside your bathroom window is a very colorful assortment of tents from the homeless camp 30 feet away
I was a little skeptic about staying there and my first experience in this hotel was super friendly, super awesome. The recessionist was so professional. The rooms were clean and always on top of things. Affordable and a very kind staff. I recommend but anyone to get a room now.
Pricey place to sleep no more. It's clean, small fridge, TV, bathroom, beds..no real amenities..$100 and change for the night. Rather rude service with no friendly greeting or exchange whatsoever. Last resort only.
I don't recommend it, there are bedbugs, the administrators complain about everything, you can't go out and sit outside the room because it bothers them

My stay at the Orange Tree Inn was absolutely fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about this charming establishment. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of home away from home.
First and foremost, the location is superb. Situated in the heart of DeLand, the Orange Tree Inn provides convenient access to all the city's attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, you'll appreciate the central location that allows you to explore everything with ease.
The accommodations were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a cozy ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The attention to detail was evident, from the tasteful decor to the plush bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep.
The staff at the Orange Tree Inn truly goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They were always ready with a smile and eager to assist with any request or inquiry. Their local knowledge was invaluable, providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities in the area.
One standout feature of the Orange Tree Inn was the safety and security. The wifi work very well while working remotely from the motel. It was a peaceful oasis in the midst of the city, perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a day of exploration. Enjoying a cup of coffee or tea in the garden was a delightful way to start the day.
In summary, the Orange Tree Inn is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Whether you're visiting for a short stay or an extended trip, this inn provides a welcoming retreat that will make your experience in DeLand all the more memorable. I can't wait to return to the Orange Tree Inn on my next visit to this wonderful city! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been relocating since the hurricane and was a guest here. The beds are comfortable, they have refrigerator and microwave and cable television and very wonderfully hot showers!!
The owners are very respectful and responsible I was very happy to get to meet them. I felt very safe and awoken well rested without need of an alarm clock 😊👍
Where to start with all the incredible things to say about this hidden gem in DeLand Florida. The rooms are completely remodeled with hardwood floors , new tile in the bathrooms and most importantly brand new comfortable beds. I've had the pleasure of staying at these wonderful folks establishment for 3 weeks and I couldn't of found a better place to come back to after a hard day's work. They keep it quiet with no nonsense management that is very helpful , friendly and they also keep it clean which is what I like. If you are looking for a place to get some rest or to stay for awhile this is the place I will choose every time 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I stayed here for four nights. The best rate I could negotiate was $75/night plus tax, or around $84. If that sounds high for a budget motel, the national chains in DeLand started at $120/night plus tax. The Hampton Inn was almost two hundred a night. This is the new reality given the record inflation we're experiencing. Orange Tree Inn has an EXCELLENT location--two minutes from the Stetson campus, restaurants within walking distance, everything you need. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. Air-conditioning worked fine. Room had microwave and minifridge. Good, reliable wifi. Bathroom was small but shower area was spacious. Plenty of hot water with decent water pressure. Motel was quiet with plenty of parking. Ice machine. Daily housekeeping. Family that owns the motel lives onsite. Nice people. The other budget motel options looked sketchy and weren't located as well. You'll be fine here...
So much fun for for a 10th birthday party! When you book a party, you get the whole space to yourself for 2 hours. Communication was excellent leading up to the party and the awesome owner Kelsey was on-site to assist. The common area is really coo
Wow. This place is pretty cool. I took my kids here last night and we had so much fun, they didnt want to leave. We met the owners Tony and Angel they are really cool and played some games with my kids. They do sell a few drinks and snacks. We loved
Santorini is a GEM. The service, food, and atmosphere are wonderful. After strolling around downtown Deland, and visiting the great shops, we enjoyed a delightful meal.
We ordered their whole fish special, and it was delicate and light. The roaste
Best place to watch stetson play ball. Clean concessions and even cleaner bathrooms. Seats are far enough apart to have enough space for taller people.
I have lived in this area over thirty years, but I didn't know this huge, well maintained, beautiful dog park existed. Our dogs had a great time and the puppy even played in the pond. There are plenty of shady areas, but you should bring chairs for
I fell in love with frozen custard almost 10 years ago and I get SO excited when I find a custard (instead of an ice cream) shop! Iâve gone to whits more times than Iâd like to admit over the last year since I moved back to the area and I always
