Overall rating: 4.5 Extremely overhyped rooftop close to the water in Manhattan. Beautiful decorations but a trek to get to. I came here on a Sunday afternoon when it opened. Like other reviews, very tiny. We got seated outside which sounds good in theory. Why it wasn’t was because we only saw our waitress once every 30-40 minutes. So ordering the drink and closing the tab felt like it took years. The view was nice. I didn’t hate the view. But for the price and the luxury of it all, I feel like it should be higher or different. Not for me. No interest in coming back. I don’t recommend to tourists.
The best part of our visit to Ophelia’s was our cozy spot looking out at NYC. The atmosphere is incredible and the views are amazing! The food was good—we enjoyed a spinach dip and truffle fries. We also ordered a bottle of wine and several other cocktails. But, service was underwhelming to say the least. We felt rushed and that the server really didn’t seem excited to engage with our group, or even sale us anything. (And we were there around 1.5 hours total—we started to feel rushed at about an hour).
I rarely write reviews with 1-2 stars but this place deserves it with their pricing and 2 hour limit. This is the place my girlfriend picked for when 2 of my friends came to visit us from overseas. Cool and all until the very end! The location is a bit more inconvenient. Had to walk about 12 minutes from E train. Not sure if there are closer train stops. The view is Brooklyn view, but it was cool. The food and drinks are TOO expensive. $30-40 for an appetizer size dish. My drink resurrection was ok but not worth the price. The server was ok. Not the friendliest person I’ve ever seen but she was quick. Through the end of our night, 1 extra friend wanted to see our friends from overseas. They did not bring him a chair. We had to stand for about 25-30 minutes. However, they did not kick him out, so “accommodating” I guess. The worst and the worst thing is they have a 2-hour limit. In all honesty, we did stay for about 2.5 hours. However, here is what happened: We were 13 minutes late, but I’m glad we were. They made us wait another 11 minutes before seated. “Our table wasn’t ready” we waited by the bar it was so crowded, no way to order a drink despite it was only 7:43pm. We ordered food and 2 rounds of drinks and we were about to leave. The server came and said last call. Assuming they were not going to hand our drinks and kick us out we ordered 1 more round because she just said last call. Then the server gave me the check even though I did not ask for it. I gave my card. The server had one of those portable machines. She tapped 20% on her own before giving it back to me. I didn’t say anything because I was going to tip 20% anyway, but I would have liked deciding my own tip. I paid $442.08 including tip and all. 4-5 minutes later the host comes and says I have a table waiting. We said ok and had to drink our newly ordered drinks fast. Then another 4-5 minutes later, another person (I’m assuming a supervisor) came and said “guys we have people waiting”. I said “the server just brought our drinks and let us finish them”. She left without saying anything. They made me mad with their idiotic 2 hour limit policy on a night we had guests from overseas. Just paid $442 for ok food and drinks for 4 people + your own server just handed us new drinks and you still are trying to kick us out. That’s what bothered me. You have to pick a lane. You can’t be both a luxury bar/restaurant charging people over $30-40 for appetizers and have a 2-hour limit. Won’t ever come here again unless they Change their management.
Horrible experience. Service was exceptionally rude. We had made reservations for 7pm. When we arrived to the hotel lobby to take the elevator up to the bar, we were greeted with a long line of restaurant and hotel guests because only one of three of the elevators were working. After twenty minutes of queuing we were greeted with an eye roll and hostility of our being late. After explaining the elevator situation (which frankly they should have already known about) we were lead to our table with a cold shoulder. Then the most unenthusiastic waitress came to take our order within seconds of us sitting down. The appeal of this restaurant is their extensive cocktail menu so it should be expected that guests will need time to decide. The atmosphere was nice and the drinks seemed finely priced for New York City but the horrible service deterred us from ordering anything else. Save your money and go to a different rooftop bar.
Everything about this place is so special! We expected maybe just a great view and some fun cocktails, but we also got insanely delicious food and the best service. Thanks for making our anniversary special ❤️
Attended a birthday celebration here. Staff was attentive, welcoming & efficient. The food was delicious and I enjoyed my cocktails. View was magnificent!
This is currently my number one rooftop bar! Everytime I've been here it's been amazing. All the food is delightful And now they are open for brunch! Highly recommended tge caviar tower
Beginning of December we stayed in the Beekman Tower. We’ve heard so much about the Ophelia Rooftop Lounge in advance, positive but also not positive. It was difficult to visit the lounge this week because often a lot of visitors lining in front of the elevators. But we wanted to go and on our last evening we managed to visit the lounge! It is an extraordinary, large rooftop bar where, next to bar stools, also plenty of seats were offered to eat and enjoy the beautiful view. We were lucky when we arrived, after a few minutes we got seats at the bar. We ordered various cocktails and also a wine. The cocktails were very well mixed and not overpriced. The wine offered was good too. The various bartenders were very professional! Their left hand shook the cocktail cup and the right hand stirred another cocktail! Where else you can have such a NYC view and see such extraordinary bartenders!!

This place is amazing! I ordered their Espresso Martini Flight and was extremely impressed. It has a really intimate but busy feel to it - speakeasy-like, but with elbow room - and is perfect for large groups. I peeked in to their second floor eve

Absolute Gem! Best cocktails I have experience in East Village for a while. Bar tenders are very skillful and professional! Service is nice and tell me about headless widow vibes! ð
Another amazing Harlem cocktail bar in the same manner as 67 Orange Street but with better crowd control and organization, so it never feels overly crowded. Purely by chance I got to meet the owner last night, and I don't think I've ever met anyone
The atmosphere is really good in here. I always come for the music ands drinks, not so much the food of I want to be honest. Iâve had the short rib tacos (really good), pork belly tacos (it was just a pork taco) no crunchy piece of skin and it was
A minimalist ambiance coupled with great cocktails, very japanese aesthetics. My cocktail (with matcha) was amazing and refreshing. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed around 9.30pm so we did not have a chance to try any food. But will be back. The
Made a reservation for 8 people for 4:30pm and the only spot for large groups is the bench by the big window, which is exactly the spot I wanted. The rest of the restaurant has smaller tables for 2. Overall, the vibes were warm and homey, but elevate
It's a charming cocktail bar with a delightful ambiance. I opted to sit at the bar, but there are also cozy tables available. The dimmed lighting creates a classy and dreamy atmosphere, reminiscent of the iconic scenes in Mad Men. While the cocktails

Tickets were crazy affordable, especially in NYC terms. I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It was wayyy cheaper than going to the movies. They had an amazing line-up and the retro 80s vibes were intimate and chill. Plus the come
Out of all of the Georgian restaurants Iâve been to in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Mealz is the one that exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, not to mention the service was amazing. Overall, the environment was very comforting and friendly
One of the best bibimbaps Iâve ever had! Cozy space so there is not a lot of seating, but would get it as take-out if needed. Will definitely go back!
Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget youâre actually running!
Eko is the best property manager Iâve ever met. He is very reactive and provide service as soon as possible. My 4 months tour in NYC is indispensable without his help.
Great, fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I came here for the first time during a trip to NYC and it's so great. The location at night in the winter at night was a bit unfamiliar but it's on a main street and near a subway entrance so that's a t
