Open Sky Zion - Resort hotel in Virgin - 3405 Dalton Wash Rd, USA

We loved our stay at Open Sky. It’s about 25 minutes from the national park entrance making it very secluded. The view of the stars was incredible. Each tent is private. Every detail was perfect. The outdoor shower is very private. The amenities are top of the line from the linens to the toiletries. The cooper soaking tub is large and beautiful. It is so quiet at night. The staff is extremely friendly. We highly recommend and hope to return.

WOW! We were blown away to have the opportunity to stay at the nicest, most unique resort/glamping experience of our lives! We came here for our honeymoon for a few days directly after our Utah wedding, and it was the best decision ever to stay at Open Sky Zion. The facilities were so impressive and upscale, the beds were so comfy, the air-conditioning was amazing despite the desert air being extremely hot outside,& the ability to see the stars both outside AND inside our Starseeker tent was once in a lifetime. We have never experienced such luxury in such a remote, peaceful, and BEAUTIFUL area! Additionally, the staff was so incredibly kind, helpful, and unbelievably generous - Dara in particular knew that it was our honeymoon and went above and beyond to make our day special! We were so taken care of and enjoyed every second we were lucky enough to spend at this resort! The daily complimentary smores were a highlight! :) We would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, BEAUTIFUL, luxury stay while visiting this incredible part of Utah!

My daughter had a softball tournament in Colorado so we decided to take a family road trip. We were nervous because we’re not really camping type. My husband found this place on line and so he decided to stop here halfway to our trip.|It did not disappoint. One of the coolest aspects is that it’s off the grid so it has its own well and solar power for everything but don’t let that confuse you. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning works 100%. I don’t remember the boys name, but it was a young guy from Colorado that greeted us and helped us check in. He was great. |We had dinner at the local restaurant and it was lovely, staring at all of the rocks as the sun went down .|We stayed in the Juniperberry suite, and it was luxurious. The beds were comfortable. The views were gorgeous and the kids really enjoyed the outdoor shower (there’s an indoor shower too ). They also had s’mores and a fire pit at our room that we enjoyed.|The kids love swimming and canoeing in the lake. There’s many hikes on the property. We also went in the morning to the lobby and was greeted by Dara. She was so helpful and so fun to talk to you. And she tipped me off on the fresh baked muffins that are served every morning from a local woman. These muffins were so good. All of them were good.|Part of me wants to keep this a secret because this place is so awesome and unique, but I want to tell you because It’s magical!!’n

5 Star Luxury Hotel Experience. Don’t hesitate about your reservation here, just book it. One of the top 5 hotels which I have stayed at in the world. My family and I recently stayed in the Star Seeker Superior II glamping site. It was beyond spectacular and lived up to our expectations. From the fabulous check in experience with Noel, to the adorable pond in which my kids paddle boarded/kayaked, to the daily s’mores kits, and the basket of snacks upon arrival, Open Sky has thought of everything. ||Star Seeker Superior II was truly superior. Stunning bathroom with luxury amenities, copper tub, double show and plenty of fluffy towels and robes. ||2 king size beds with one in a glass enclosed area in which my kids fell asleep looking at the stars. Fire pit and hammock were perfect for evening stargazing and patio area was perfect for early morning sunrises. ||Grill, fridge, microwave and sink were great for making a casual dinner. Open Sky even provided a grill kit with everything which can be needed. ||On site restaurant (Black Sage) was truly a treat as well. (See raving review). ||Open Sky Zion will far exceed your expectations and my family and I can’t wait to return one day.

The ONLY place I’d choose to stay in the Zion area. Each time we drove to the site from the road it was like the first time. The surrounding canyons were incredible. The staff were genuine and promptly answered any questions. I loved the text message feature where you could text the front desk. I was so appreciative that Tomas stayed at the desk late to greet us when we arrived. Dara was extremely helpful in planning our free day and giving us tips on what to do in the area. She was such a joy to speak with. The tent was equipped with everything you could need that included heated floors, water bottles, and a variety of snacks. It was such a unique experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday! Thank you so much Open Sky!

Open Sky is simply phenomenal. This is the way to experience Zion! The camps are separated from one another and you have plenty of privacy. The resort is situated in a gorgeous valley reminiscent of the national park itself. The staff were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to interact with. We ate at Black Sage and the food was incredible, high recommend!

Open Sky is a one in a million experience! A secluded site and great base to visit Zion National Park. The yurts are top notch and filled with wonderful amenities..robes, slippers, Occitane products. The bathrooms are a welcome relief after a day of hiking. You even have the opportunity to shower outdoors under the stars! The rooms and property are very clean and you can notice the staff’s attention to detail. The staff is exceptional! They are willing to take care of your every need. We did not have an opportunity to eat at the restaurant but it is a very convenient addition. It’s worth every cent and if I ever return to the area I would stay at Open Sky!

My girlfriend and I stayed here and we had just the best Experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Incredible lodging, these Super Safari tents have it all! We especially loved the outdoor shower, and hot tub combo. The food at Black Sage was amazing. Everything was five star plus.definitely top shelf with everything they offer. Can’t wait to come back and stay with Open Sky, again!
