The best of the best! Friendly service, tasty vegan menu options, and the very best teas hands down. I visit every day that I’m in CT. Very highly recommend!

I love this tea shop! The atmosphere, food and service is always great and it feels like such a friendly, cozy place. The servers take their time to explain the teas and to suggest different options to try and I've never been disappointed with the quality and variety that I've had. The cookies are great (I especially love the lemon thyme -- not too sweet and just the right notes of both lemon and thyme!) and I've also enjoyed the scones. In terms of food, I can definitely recommend the spinach quiche (light and smooth), the vegan morning wrap, the breakfast bowl and the twice baked sweet potato -- YUM!

I really enjoyed the iced London fog latte and banana walnut chai muffin. Tea lattes and tea-based desserts tend to be too weak-tasting for my taste, but the tea flavors are potent and fragrant here. I also like that it's a cute, unpretentious, and relaxing place to enjoy a chat with a friend or family, unlike some other afternoon tea places. The service is friendly and welcoming. My only nitpick is that their paper straws don't hold up well against the wetness of the drink.

Love love love it here. My go-to is the vegan breakfast burrito and the Banana Warrior smoothie. Added a shot of espresso the other day to power through a 12 hour shift and it was amazing!! Cannot recommend, especially for people with dietary restrictions.

Had my daughter’s baby shower there and it was perfect! Sarah and her staff were lovely. Nice private room and the food was excellent.

I love Open Door Tea!! I wish I lived closer. They have a huge selection of teas and everything I've had there has been yummy. The baked goods are very tasty, especially the tahini brownie. The vegan morning wrap is delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful little spot in Stratford with phenomenal vegan and gluten free options. We had the black bean burger, chocolate peanut butter bar, chocolate zucchini bread, and the flourless tahini brownie- all were absolutely amazing.

I’ve now been to Open Door Tea twice. The atmosphere is just the best. I’ve attended two cookie decorating classes but also got to experience the food, tea, and most importantly the great service and staff. They are all so kind and accommodating while making sure you always have what you need! The chicken salad wrap is divine and I look forward to it each time I go!
