A family run Greek restaurant. The food is tasty and authentic. Service is attentive and fast. They kept the restaurant open after closing time to accommodate us. Options available for different dietary restrictions. The Souvlaki is really good and charred to perfection. The Lemon Chicken soup was the perfect appetizer. The wine list is decent. Dessert options are limited but the Rice Pudding was done just right and not too sweet.
The restaurant is very pretty inside and clean with a nice atmosphere. The boys who work there were all very nice and attentive. I got a Greek salad with chicken souvlaki and it was delicious. I definitely recommend
Family dinner to celebrate an event. The interior of the restaurant is pretty shoddy, the bathrooms under disrepair. Our service was terrible on a Wednesday. Waiter didn't know the foods served, didn't ask for a second round of drinks, etc.
Kids menu is terribly overpriced for what they get, not really matching the price of the rest of the menu, which is actually reasonable. Over $12 for a pita slathered in terrible marinara and cheese with no side or drink included is robbery.
My small salad was smaller than most side salads I've ever ordered. Their gyros are not served with a side (that's extra). Their spicy feta appetizer does not come with pita for dipping.
Clearly a place that should be exclusively takeout
Its not all greek to me! OPA Grille is one of the better greek spots in the Bethpage area. I always get their rice with my gyro...ALWAYS! My only issue is I wish they gave bigger portions!
Bad service, food is not much better. The calamari was poorly breaded with pieces falling off. Also ordered a Greek salad that was supposed to come with "grape leaves and olives." There were no grape leaves and one olive. No one came to check during the meal, so I couldn't even say anything. Felt ignored by the waitress. The front of the house were very nice.
Opa is consistently good. I usually get a Greek salad with gyro meat but I felt like a gyro and fries. Was exactly what I wanted. Came with an option for soup and I went with the lemon chicken. Highly recommend. Recently went back and had the falafel sandwich. It was really tasty. I personally like the Tzatziki sauce over the Tahini on the falafel. They make it really well here.
The food was delicious and flavorful. Service, on the other hand, was slow. Took about an hour to get our food. Table next to use was turned over before we got our food. Our first waitress wasn't anything special but our second waitress was great. The only reason I go back is the food.
We arrived with a party of 15 and one waitress, Erin, was waiting on all the tables. She was amazing!! She was professional, friendly, and handled the pressure with perfection!! The food was also amazing!! The stuffed shrimp with Greek potatoes was very unique and cooked to perfection. Thank you Erin for handling our group and creating a perfect experience!
