Onslow County Museum - Museum in Richlands - 301 S Wilmington St, USA

Great museum, with cute exhibits, packed full of great historical information. It was very nice to visit. Its $2 an adult and $1 per child. Wish they had more, maybe one day they will add on to the exhibits.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my father, who needed a wheelchair. The staff’s knowledge of Onslow County history is impressive and the museum is a must-do if you’re from the area or visiting.

Took the kids here to start off there summer, and I have to say we all really enjoyed it. Alot of great stuff about the History in Onslow.

We went here while on vacation as an alternative to outdoor activities since its so hot! It was small but did have interesting stuff. I learned about a hero privateer, read letters between a man and wife during the war of Northern agression, they had an interactive Greek exhibit where the kids could dress up. I joined in the fun dressing in a toga and posing like a statue. Would recommend if you want top beat the heat and kill a little bit of time.

Nice museum full of knowledge and there activities for the kids.

This is a small but packed museum with local Onslow County history. Old Indian canoe discovered locally was awesome.

Took a field trip with 7-12 year old kids. The best part of the whole experience was our tour guide Ms. Lisa. She was AMAZING! she remembered every child's name after being introduced to them once and was very theatrical in her presentation of the museum.

Lots of interesting things to see. You can get a real feel of the history of Onslow County. There are always fun activities for the kids. My daughter loves to go to the museum, and begs her grandmother to take her every time she visits.
