I did a pick up order so I did not have to wait in line. My food was done on time, and tasted amazing! The place is a bit small, so it felt a little crowded. But otherwise, the service was great and the food was good! Highly recommend!
I'm bummed about my last visit. Not because of the service but the food. I used to come a lot last summer and the service sucked but the food was good enough to ignore it. The potential to be great is the reason for two stars instead of one. Today, the chicken katsu I got was really dry. Almost as much crunchy breading as chicken. Not the best but okay with sauce. Until I got a really hard part and had to spit it out...it was bone surrounded by gristle. 😩 If I wasn't on lunch break I would've taken it back but I'm just gonna toss it. Couldn't even finish the meal.
I ordered the Island Fire dish, a kids chicken teriyaki, and spam musubi. Everything was fresh, hot, and plenty of food! Highly recommend! Staff was nice and attentive. And the Mac salad ohhhh my! 😍😍😍😍
I apologize in advance for my "Karen" review. It's 3:30pm and there are no customers in the store besides me. Eric is sitting behind the counter while the cook is working on my order. There is trash littering the floor and tables that need wiping down. Who is suppose to clean the store and when?
Great food but staff likes to kick people out early so they can clean and get out early Everytime we come. Never open to eat inside or outside past 8.
Portion was small, burnt and macaroni salad tasted bad. I don't usually go 2 this location on Madison in Riverside and I won't be going back. Please do better. I also ordered the Katsu chicken in a family meal it waz good but the bbq chicken was undercooked and the island fire tasted overcooked, chewy and old.
Great decision I made this day closing the lemon chicken plate #23, was satisfying to the max just the right portion for me. Personel& service was asome THANK YOU MUCH....!

Delicious definitely coming back again! They let me know the Island fire chicken was a 15 minute wait; worth every second!! Great portions couldnât finish! So freaken good!! And family friendly ! Loved seeing the familyâs throughout restaurant.
