Our first day, we met El and the guy working with her (sorry, I forgot his name). They were great. They gave of tips for where to go, were super friendly, exactly what you look for in guest services. But every day after that, there was another young woman there, who wasn't necessarily rude, she just acted like she didn't want to be there, like everything was a bother. All the other staff in the resort were nice, but they weren't the ones I had to interact with, other than small pleasantries.
The restaurant food was not very good and it was pricey; basically 2 dry paninis, chips, and 2 cocktails was like $70. Before we booked, we were told breakfast was complimentary, but it was actually almost as expensive as dinner, so we declined.
Our room was beautiful. We were right across from the aquatic center (pool, hot tub, dry sauna, steam room, and spa). They had a gym, billiards room, theater, and gondola to take you into town. The rooms didn't really have hot water. It's just above lukewarm, which wasn't great, because they had nice sized tubs. The bed wasn't that comfortable for us, both temperature and comfort... but to be fair, we have a special bed that we're used to.
Awesome place! Wonderful rooms with (mostly) great amenities. The hot tubs and sauna are wonderful! The outdoor summer adventure park is right there, which is great (but pricey). The gondola to downtown is right outside the hotel, but unfortunately stops coming back up at 5 (wish that went later). My only complaint was food options. Nothing was good, and the living room was awful (over priced, forgot food, 1 server, 1 cook - server was super nice). We really enjoyed the hotel, and a nice forested hike is just down the road. This would be a great place in winter as well.
It was a bit of a rocky start, but the manager really went above and beyond to make things right. She was incredibly professional and kind. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, and all the dining options were fantastic. If you feel like heading into town but don't want to deal with driving, there's a convenient free shuttle available. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the staff truly made our stay worthwhile.
Great location just steps from the chairlift and ski school. Nice quiet room. However, do yourself a favor and don’t eat at The Living Room. It’s way overpriced and horrible horrible food. Worst we’ve ever had. I don’t think they have a grill back there so basically fake chicken on wraps, etc.
Stayed with my family, and had a great experience. The ski in/out location was ideal, and the service was great. Shout out to the ski valet guys who were really cool, helpful and welcoming. (Vinny, Zack and Marty) They were great with kids and helping organize chaos. Convenient to town, and the courtesy shuttle was really helpful. Heated parking was great as well.
Located at base of peak 8. 5 Lifts there. Breakfast was free. Fruit was good. Bacon sausage and eggs were mostly always burnt.
This was our first stay at One Ski Hill but not our first time in Breckenridge. We appreciated the ability to walk out on the first floor 10 minutes before ski lessons started and our daughter being early :) Each unit is individually owned and ours was well stocked with everything we needed for the week! Marty, Zac, and all of the ski valets were amazing! Being handed your skis when you walk out the door in the morning is such a luxury, as well as them returning them for us at the end of the week! We were able to take the gondola into town before 5PM and then Peter would pick us up after dinners and safely drive us back. Everyone was V helpful and for us the sauna and pools were great, the indoor hot tub was working but the outdoor wasn’t but if we wanted to we had the option to walk a minimal amount of steps next door to their hot tubs :) I will end by noting that after recent reviews I called and talked with management to level set expectations and we walked through every concern and came up with alternatives, many were not needed and overall we highly recommend!
We have stayed here throughout the years since it opened. We have witnessed a major deterioration of quality and service. This past time was the last time. It’s one thing to pay $2000 a night, but to sneak in the fine print a $200/night resort fee for broken indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, AND steam room is unacceptable. After contacting management regarding the issues, no regard for customer service or even a response was provided. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere
Stayed in one of the Penthouses on the 6th floor. Fantastic views. Ski in Ski out. Quicksilver lift is right out the back door. Hot tub inside and outside. Sauna. Room slept 12 people. Had a fireplace and was perfect. We will be back.
Our son absolutely loved the arcade here! Itâs one of the best indoor places to take kids in Breckenridge. Plus thereâs an ice cream shop in the front!
Absolutely loved the mines tour with Michael, heâs so full of fun knowledge and delivers the info so well!
Another shot out to Cory the operations manager of the monster truck sleigh rides. He gave my family a fun and great experience going the ext
Craved a flavorful, tasty and fresh meal after wandering the town. I am lucky to have found Mount Golian Grill. This restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and cozy. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I can only highly recommend it.
Loved the salsas and rose pork. Wish there was more avocado and tomato, but Iâve never had tlayudas before. Very tasty! Also had a breakfast burrito (no pic) and it was bomb.
We loved the breakfast and bakery items here. Get the Turkey and Cheese sandwich, Cinnamon Brioche, and Pain Au Chocolat Croissants. All of those were excellent. The latte was also very good. The staff were very nice and patient, place was clean, and
My family enjoyed this trail. We did a total of 4.5 miles. If you are not used to the altitude (we're from Ohio) it can be difficult at times. Make sure to bring water, wear sunscreen, and be prepared to get your shoes dusty. We didn't see any wildli
