First impressions just walking in the building was great, while ordering. The service was very kind, and the food was equally good, but I wish I could give an extra star for the service, one of the employees even went out of her way to give some free soup, and a free meal for my brother. Couldn't recommend this restaurant more!!!!! 😁
The food is good the lady is rude.. talks very fast and is very short with you. Almost like she doesn’t want me in the restaurant spending money… I won’t be back… Rude people
Great place! We were visiting and stopped in and the workers/owners were so nice and welcoming and the poke bowls were fantastic! Highly recommend.
Delicious poke bowl. Very flavorful. However, the only thing I am not happy about is the size of the scoop. I paid $13.99 + tax for 4 “large” scoop. Each scoop was half full and the poke was already cut really small. In the end, I didn’t get much fish in my bowl. I know a better poke place that gives generous amount of fish and ingredients for less. That’s why I give 4 star for this place.
Tonight I had one of the best customer service experiences! The woman who helped us was so kind, she handcrafted our poke bowls and they were quite literally the best I’ve had. I told her I was vegetarian and she took the lead and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this place to any and everyone, I wish I was a LA local because I would happily visit this spot again.
Tried them plenty of times but every single time I go makes me want to go there less often. Their Salmon doesn't taste fresh and asked for more Wasabi but was given only two tiny sauce container eachb with like 1 gram of wasabi in it. Service and staff is always friendly when I visit but other than that.. would not go for the fish.
Yeah, I’ve had a lot of Poke spots and this was the first eh experience. Especially with such great reviews. It must be a convenient spot for most people.
Flavors were great, food was fresh
Portions were very small for the price
The topping options were limited
They basically top and sauce everything for you. I’m used to being explained to and choosing my sauce.
They were fast but it felt like I was being rushed with no explanation of what’s being put on my plate. Just this is how we do it. It’s not bad but there’s better.
I had small poke bowl with tuna and salmon as protein (the classic). It was great. The fish tasted good and fresh.
The only minor nitpick I had was the lack of wasabi sauce. They did have normal wasabi, but the serving size per container could be increased.
I also wished they had spoons. Using a fork alone could be a bit annoying when dealing with rice.
