Omee J Fusion Sushi Bar & Grill - Japanese restaurant in Santa Clara - 4477 Stevens Creek Blvd, USA

We LOVE this place, it's our go-to fusion! Don't remember when we didn't like any dish, the appetizers are wonderful (Jalapeno poppers and I forget all the names but you can see in the photos what we've ordered). The rolls are fantastic and they do have photos of them so you know what you're getting. Two things to note: they did increase prices during the last year which is understandable given inflation. Also, the place is situated next door to a "dive bar" so while there's plenty of lighting in the parking lot etc and it's perfectly safe, you won't have the "nice dining out" experience until you get into the restaurant.

We were pretty impressed by the fish quality and modern ambiance of the interior. This is a great date night spot hidden between car dealerships! It seems to be Korean operated and locally owned. I recommend the OE Roll! Though each piece is fragile, the roll is beautiful and is filled with fish! The cucumber is very crisp and the sauce is very flavorful. I found myself dipping other rolls in this sauce. The Golden State Roll and 4 Seasons Roll were also very fresh and put together very pretty. You can tell the chefs like nice presentation!! Very tasty and I'll definitely be back to try more on their menu.

This is the best sushi place I've been to in San Jose! I've been a couple times now. The service is fast, professional, and friendly. The food is amazing. I love their miso soup in particular, it's so good and the onion adds such a depth of flavor. The fish is fresh and the rolls are presented well. Great for a date night!

Incredibly fresh, inventive sushi in a modern atmosphere. Very large menu to choose from! Pricey! ($11 for a tiny seaweed salad??)

Excellent food quality and taste. Their sushi is delicious- especially the baked ones such as the Lion roll. The noodles we got were only subpar; the soup was a little too salty for my taste. The service was not very satisfactory as well. We arrived at around 6:00 with a party of 4 and they told us that there were no more seats, even though there was a table of 8 available. They then said that we could not be seated at that table of 8, but there was a party of 2 seated at a table for 4... The table of 8 was still empty when we left.

This place is always my go to sushi stop when I’m in town. From the vibe and atmosphere to the quality of fish used, this place is 5 stars across the board. I promise you, you won’t find better tasting fish anywhere else.

Omee J is the place to have some fun with your sushi! I've always been interested in Omee J and finally tried them last year and again recently for the first time. I'm glad they stuck around long enough for me to make the jump. Their fusion sushi always caught my eye and I finally tried it! The cuts of fish are great and each piece was a mystery of flavor combinations. I really enjoyed the rosemary seated salmon. One of the pieces has Sriracha on it, and while I don't mind spiciness, it really affected the ability to fully enjoy the next pieces due to the lingering flavor. Ginger could cleanse this flavor off. We've also had their Cajun tuna and it was bright and savory! Parking can sometimes be tough, with a good handful of awkward and compact spots. The parking lot services a good handful of other dining establishments and businesses in the same plaza.
