Ombu - Korean restaurant in Orem - 147 N State St, USA

LOVE THIS PLACE I’m picky about Korean food but here has what is up! The people are the sweetest things ever. They’ll always check on you, talk and just have a good old time. The service was fast and clean. They’re amazingly priced and everything is fresh. The only things not included in the all you can eat are desserts and craft beers/ wine. Pricing for 2 for dinner is around $51 and we had 5 plates of meat, sesame balls, cheese sticks. The cooktop was replaced about 15 minutes in for us! We had a lot going and you don’t even have to ask they’re so on top of making everything functional. We loved the brisket, bolgogi, Hawaiian steak and Ombu sirloin. The Miso tofu was really good. They have tons of options for drinks like milkshakes or adding boba to things. I am so excited to come back to this restaurant!

This place was awesome. The wait staff was very nice and attentive but not pushy at all. The only tiny slight bad part was the fan had to be right in our line of eyesight, but the food was delicious and definitely made up for that and more.

Eaten here many times. Never had a bad experience! I highly recommend the Dinner menu, even during lunch. The Takoyaki is my favorite dish! The staff is so friendly! Give them a try!

This is my third time going to Ombu and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I did not like it the first two times I ate there. The food was pretty good this time so I’m glad I went back. We ordered more food then what they brought out and I’m glad they didn’t bring out everything that we ordered because we would not have finished it. I would have given them a 5 star if they had more side options. I’ve been to other Korean BBQ’s that have a variety of sides would be nice to have more of a selection here.

Pretty good Korean food. Most of the menu is items you order and then cook on a small grill at your table. Food is pretty good, bibimbap has an excessive amount of sauce.

The food was great. The service was excellent, they were constantly asking how we were doing and were prompt in collecting finished dishes/bringing us new ones. We usually go in for lunch as it is cheaper, but the dinner-only dishes are so good that it's worth the extra price. I highly recommend both short ribs, the bibimbap, and anything dipped in the sesame sauce. Also a great chance for conversation and practice cooking meat to perfection.

Love this Korean BBQ place! Friendly service, fresh food, and nice atmosphere to hang out with my husband! We always order Oreo milkshake which is soooo good! Recently beef tongue is a little bit thicker, I prefer their previously much thinner slice!

This is a fantastic place. They are wonderful at accommodating large parties, or just a table for 2. I really enjoyed cooking my own food, it makes the evening out with friends so much more fun. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Have been a few times, excited to keep going back.
