Olympic Island Beach Resort - Hotel in Wildwood - 6401 Ocean Ave, USA

Our room was oceanfront, perfect location. Its a family hotel, very peaceful.| I was hesitant when I read all the negative comments about "Dave", turns out he was great, he cares about the resort and the guests. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Super clean hotel and pool. We'd definitely stay here again. Bonus* the restaurant has the best coffee in the crest!!||Con: the bathroom was a little small(rm102)|Pro: everything else, beautiful stay.

Stay away from type A city view rooms. Bathroom was from 1970 and so small, rusty and no shelf space to put anything. Pool was nice, shower was strong and hot but that's it. They acted like no other rooms were available but place was half empty.

Great location to be for wildwood crest. The check-in was simple and easy, with the front desk being very friendly. We ended up renting bikes to go to the boardwalk, but it was not a terribly long walk. We were on the second floor. Our room was very nice and updated. Everything we needed for the kitchen was there. It was perfect to make breakfast, and the full-size fridge was great. I would say the couch in the living room was a love seat, so it's not super big. Our room was right off the elevator, but it was never too loud. Our only complaint was that the curtains in the bedroom were very light, allowing a lot of light in, in the morning. But overall, we would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed. We try different places in Wildwood Crest for a few nights each time to come up with places we’d like to stay for a week. Unfortunately this won’t be one we’d come back to. Positives are a nice pool where you can see the beach and water pressure in shower very good. But….we booked a room on a Sunday and Monday night 1st week June when hardly any people. It gave us no choices of views like ocean full or partial etc. On Sunday while at the zoo for a family reunion we get a call around 5pm asking when are we getting there…never had a place do that so we immediately left to check in. At check in they gave us a room overlooking the street with a pole and transformer outside our window. There’s maybe 4 rooms in the entire place located there. All other rooms have views of pool and ocean. The place was not crowded and my husband asked if we could have a different room since so many available and the man refused. The room was dated with rust around bathroom sink an old sink from 60’s or 70’s and such a tiny bathroom it was ridiculous. Could go on and on but if he would have just given us a different room we could have dealt with it being dated. Customer service is important and we just won’t go back.

Stayed in many hotels between Cape May and Wildwood through the years. I wish I found this one sooner. We reserved 2 oceanfront rooms. Loved them! I truly enjoyed the deck and the pool area. Housekeeping every day did a great job. The man who checked us in was pleasant and the week we spent I always seen him with maintenance men cleaning and making sure everything was good. The ladies in the restaurant very nice and attentive with our families and children. We will return. Also I found price of our room very reasonable

Came into town for the four day music fest for barefoot country. Dave and staff were completely amazing. Very accommodating very clean very efficient. Pool was great. Staff was friendly pleasant and helpful. Can’t wait to come back. Great job guys.

Reserved room thinking the room was ocean view, it was not and didn’t say otherwise on the reservation. We are here now ion a Sunday with lots of other rooms available. We are over sixty and the desk person was rude and the room smelled. We will never stay here again. They had tons of rooms available and didn’t even care. The reservation said nothing about a street view. We don’t have a ocean view or a beach front room. We look out at a electric pole transformer and a street. We wouldn’t have booked here knowing we are at a ocean front hotel with no view at all. Room 216

We are here now. We are in our sixties and booked through booking.com. No where in the description did it say street view and not ocean view on booking.com or the hotels information. We checked in last night to a rude hotel desk. I said something about the room and he said that was the room I booked. This is a ocean front hotel. I expected a ocean view room and there was plenty of ocean view rooms available. The room we had is a street view room that we have to climb over chairs on the room next to ours to get into our smelly tiny room. I will never attempt to stay here again.
