Olives Branch Express Grill - Mediterranean restaurant in Irvine - 5365 K Alton Pkwy, USA

Restaurant was neat and clean. Service was ok. No complaints. We bought couple of shawarma wraps and a meal. The size of the wrap was good, however the shawarma melt wrap, which was supposed to have lot of cheese in it, did not seem to have that much cheesy melt in it. Was expecting a cheesy wrap, but it ended up almost like a regular wrap. Garlic sauces were charged separately, whereas in many other restaurants I have seen them give one sauce with each meal/wrap for free. But that's their business model, so no complaints for not getting free sauces. Overall the experience was ok.

Ordered Express Plate 11 & Express Signature 17, the server was really nice 👍🏻 although it stipulates no substitution for Express Signature Plates , he kindly offered if I was satisfied with the whole plate, he replaced my basmati rice with a delicious 😋 salad 🥗 , the baba ganoush is delicious, love the hummus & beans, will come back for sure! Super fresh food

I always have a good experience when I come here, so I keep coming back. The food is amazing too, fresh and strong flavors that I love.

Really disappointed with the staff here. Each time I come they serve me more rice and less salad/hummus. I finally asked the most recent time I visited if they could add some more because they filled my tray with mostly rice where the salad should’ve been. Staff refused to hear me out and denied hearing out my concern. As far as I know there are three employees, two men and one woman. The woman is the one who refused to listen to me. I wouldn’t normally complain but I used to really like this place. My family has also experienced an extreme decline in service and food quality in the past months, very disappointing. On top of that, their bathroom has been closed for weeks and there’s always water all over their floor from a leak. Hoping this restaurant can get their act together, went from 10 to 0 quick.

I am always happy to come to olives branch express for the great and delicious food and not to mention the excellent service and happy employees that make your experience amazing and make you feel welcomed every time. I have visited the store on August 9, 2020, the store was very clean and organized. Highly recommended by #MOODY360TV

We past by here during our vacation. Great Lebanese food . The chicken shawarma was amazing. I even spoke with the owner who was super nice . Would sure come back on our next visit to California

Can be difficult to spot, has impossible parking, but worth every struggle to get there! Fantastic vegetarian options, baba ganoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, radishes roasted veggies. They even have a baklava ice cream dessert. The falafel is great and very filling. Ask for a side of garlic sauce with your order!

The staff is not trained well so you get food that is horrible one time and excellent another. They don't much about the food so they make their own substitutions and it's horrible because they don't know the cuisine and have no idea what it is supposed to taste like
