Just had my moms birthday dinner here and it was amazing. Everyone’s food was perfect. But what made it exceptional ?? Our server. The main man there. He brought us out a candle and dessert for my mom without us even asking. He shocked us all. Bc no one told him thank you!
A recent impromptu visit to the area brought me to this really special spot in Carteret. Very reasonably priced, staffed by friendly people who are personable and attentive. The ingredients were top notch. (I ordered the pork and clams dish) I also enjoyed a well mixed cosmo. Bring your appetite, a friend, a smile and take a load off. Will come back again when in the area.
The food is delicious, big portions and very reasonably priced. The staff is great and the owner is an absolute awesome person. Best family owned Portuguese restaurant around!

Awesome place for drinks and empanadas. We stopped here after a night at the Carteret performing arts center . The music is loudddddd , the people are friendly and the waitresses are awesome!!
Aww man this fish sandwich was the truth. It really hit the spot. It taste really fresh & good. I had some shrimp with fries as well but I was that impressed with it like I was with the fish sandwich. If I'm in the area again I would definitely order
