My husband surprised me with a nice date night here. I definitely enjoyed my experience here. Starting with the nice lady who brought us to our table and not to mention friendly server. The atmosphere is lovely. The Jazz was great 🥰 If you enjoy Jazz music 🎷 definitely recommend this place to come and have a good time. Food was okay. We ordered a Greek salad, the rib eye steak, and the lamb chop skewer. There is a 15 dollar fee per person to see the band play and a small fee if you pay with a card 💳 . Again if you enjoy Jazz music it's worth it. Small parking lot, and is valet only. There is free street parking. I recommend to book your reservation ahead of time.

It is not easy to find a nice, cute little place in LA that would have it all: a substantial menu, delicious food, great drinks, kind service, ambient atmosphere, AND entertainment. All of these under one roof in a quiet corner of Canoga Park. Is this a reality? How come residents of Canoga Park got so lucky??? Live music 5 days a week. Blues or Jazz. The cover charge is so worth it. Sturgeon fish as a main dish is another level of dining experience. If you love and appreciate food, you will definitely find something you'll enjoy on the menu. Next time I'm trying their mushroom julienne and lamb chops. The bar doesn't serve hard liquor yet, but the bartender makes incredibly balanced and tasty cocktails anyway. It's a gift, I guess. If you feel adventurous, as I did, ask for something off the cocktail menu. My discovery was limoncello with peach and champagne, as well as some cherry drink. If I lived closer, I'd be coming here almost every night because it feels cozy and homey, not like you are in a big fancy restaurant where no one cares about you. Here, I felt really good and will be coming back for sure.

This one is an absolute surprise: dining, live jazz, great service, all hidden at the very wear end of Roscoe Blvd. Bonus round: there's a speakeasy hidden in the back. Olive & Fig has a broad Mediterranean menu I would peg is Lebanese, including lamb, pork, seafood, beef, and a broad selection of vegetarian foods. Foods. Whoever's in the kitchen cares about the food, because it comes out beautiful, tasteful and tasty. Appetizer portions are generous and spectacular. Dinner portions are regular and delicious. There is a limited cocktail bar, but it's real. They've got about six beers on tap, and an extensive wine list. Service is attentive and our particular server, Cynthia, made our meal with bright interactions, excellent suggestions, and just about the perfect amount of attention. Live jazz two to four nights a week. We saw The Aristocrats trio, with no cover in a half full restaurant. The acoustics are great, the musicians were excellent and enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The interior is clean, beautiful, dark ceilings with retro LED bulbs, a waterfall in the lobby and three distinct seating areas. Booths, flat-tops, and a lounge area with deep couches.. Parking out front is limited to about 10 cars, but the mall just to the east is usually closed by dinner time and allows parking there. If you pass through the dining room, just passed the stage through some beautiful doors, there's a speakeasy back there. Hookah, Cigar and the restaurant will serve.

My husband and I came here for a date night and were pleasantly surprised. There aren't very many places in the valley that offer live jazz and this place was perfect. The musicians were great and provided an amazing backdrop. The food was wonderful. My husband said it was some of the best lamb he had eaten quite some time. The ambience and vibes are immaculate. We can't wait to come back!

This is a nice local place. It has great jazz music, a dark(ish) cool room vibe, and a fancy dining vibe all in one. The food is ok, not the best Mediterranean, small portions, and service is hit or miss. The parking lot is small, valet only and not worth it as there is free street parking. Food: we got the appetizer dips (hummas, babaganush, and some walnut mush). They were all good but the walnut mush was very good, we liked it best). We got some wraps, they were small and nothing special. The flavor was ok, the price was ok, the plain sides were...ok. well, the fries were actually pretty good. I got the chicken shwarma plate it was pricey, small(ish, for me) portion, but very tasty, well cooked, and staticifying. The rice was very good, albeit a little be greasey. Our waiter was very nice when we arrived. Messed up our order (3 wraps and 2 shwarma plates), then basically forgot about us. Never refilled our waters (we had to go to the bar and ask for a pitcher of water), never checked on us until we were done, then was nice again by bringing my mom a little desert (which they charged us for) to celebrate her b-day. By the way, the baklava was just ok. THE LIVE BAND that played was really good. I will definitely go back because of them and no other reason (now if I could only remember the name??). They were a jazz trio (guitar, bass, drummer), older players with a singer (she was great), and they made the night very special. Overall, if you go for the food, don't bother. If you go for the service, don't bother, but if you go for the jazz, absolutely go, that made the whole night worth it.

I loved the atmosphere of this place, although it had bad rewius I decided to go and see for myself, the wonderful music, the romantic place. The attention could improve a little but the food was good ... I would go again for the place!

This place was the best place in the west valley. Live jazz and authentic Armenian/ Lebanese cuisine. It has since become what appears to be a laundering venture. No one ever there. I don’t think they have live jazz anymore. Officially the most expensive restaurant in America. $24 for a hummus trio. $28 for a chicken schwarma (small portion with frozen French fries). The food used to be fantastic, now so so. It is so sad that there are no decent / basic mediocre restaurants in West Hills. The neighborhood desperately needs somewhere to eat :(.

There are the larger chains and there are the smaller mom and pops. This smaller sandwich shop, while it may be couple bucks more than others, is well worth the money. Huge selection of sandwiches and more. They only had 2 workers, Roshai and Herman,
