I like this place, it is small but the atmosphere is perfect, to go quietly in company or alone, to play pool or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink, I recommend the place, the people are very friendly and respectful

Great place to shoot pool and have some great drinks. Super nice people, and you can bring/order outside food. Too many good things to say about this place!

Cool place to kick it after work and grab a drink! Met the owner who was very nice and staff was awesome.

Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a Bar. So many places strive to have a safe place with great staff, great patrons, and fun times to be enjoyed. Only O'Learys is the real deal. I've had so many places to drink, and this would be the only place I would choose everyday, and twice on Sunday.

I began to frequent this bar when I first moved to Ventura - I thought to myself, "Wow! Found an Irish Pub, right off the bat." It now seems this Irish Pub identifies as a Cantina. Beware of any "Irish" establishment blaring Ranchero music on Parade day, St. Paddy's or any other day, for that matter. Expect the music you paid for to be skipped over and to find a hassle around every corner of the bar. Unfortunately, there is no Irish Proverb for this scenario, so, via con dios.

Nice atmosphere and gotta love Sunday NFL ticket.. my friend Liza brought me here because I had no way to watch my cowboys play she said got u let's roll to the spot.. breakfast shots were awesome taste just like maple syrup along with some Bacon..

I had a HORRIBLE experience last night. I won’t EVER go back. I went to go have a drink, sitting quietly by myself. I look over and see that the blonde bartenders “friend” was sitting at the end of the bar. He had reached next to him and grabbed corn nuts out of a basket at the very edge of the bar. I hadn’t eaten, so I walked over to him and said I’ve never been here before. How does this work to get a snack.? He asked my name.. ( to know which tab). I told him he said go ahead I’ll tell her. I said oh ok… I’ll tell her too. So I thought I’d covered my bases so far. So I ordered another drink, 10 minutes goes by and The Security guard walks over and tells me that I’m being asked to leave. So I got kicked out of a bar.. But would not offer an explanation., I was very confused because I’m nice and kind.. wasn’t bothering anyone, not intoxicated.. So the young man walks over and I told him I’m confused what’s this about? He said.. you went behind the bar. I said ok… I’ll respect that , signed and left as asked. In total shock.. I sat in my car like what just happened? So I called the bar ,and explained to the young man what happened … I asked with kindness and respect..ll tell my mom. Oh ok… I’ll tell the world. So no.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAR. The other 2 East end bars The Garage and the Keynote are owned by wonderful people who truly value the Ventura east end community patrons. And would certainly talk to there guests..(neighbors) with respect before treating someone that way.

This place is clean for a bar and has nice pool tables and an ATM inside if you need to put out money or you could use your card great beers 🍻
