Ole Times Country Buffet - Buffet restaurant in Macon - 1343 Gray Hwy, USA

My husband loves a buffet and this place did not disappoint!! Lots of old-time country dishes to choose from....fried corn and fatback, hot fried catfish, hamburger steak and gravy. Then add the full salad bar and dessert bar...well worth the $38 price (for two plus drinks)!! They have the best fried chicken and sweet tea!! And our server was very attentive. Not very packed for a Saturday evening but still a good little crowd.

I’ve had multiple stops here just to be sure it wasn’t just a bad day. Every time they have shrimp it’s over cooked and mushy, hasn’t been cleaned with poop still. Not really any vegetarian options (I’m pescatarian for the nancys out there) because almost all of it is topped with meat or inside. So I end up getting a salad most times. Lastly a little flavor would be nice, to me it’s not given southern style cooking.

Was in Macon, Georgia today. It was close to my location. Did not feel WOW. Food was not that great. The person who was over the salad bar performed her duties beautifully. She was dedicated and should be recognized.

The majority of the food really is good but... the last time I was there the chicken didn't have the same taste; but perhaps seeing feathers might have threw me. I was disappointed that the chicken from the last visit also had feathers on the legs as well... and I am now concerned with if its being cleaned properly I hope that this can be something that can be corrected quickly and restore the five star restaurant food that we're used too.

I am satisfied with my lunch at Ole Times. It is clean. They have a great selection of vegetables. Staff made things easy. I meet Savannah at the sweets section. She already had all the desserts organized. On the weekend it is like a bbq. They have ribs and pulled pork all at a decent price. On weekdays It is around $13 dollars with water

The food is always good at this place. There is a friendly atmosphere and great down-home cooking! The drink machines were down, so tea, coffee, and water were the only beverages available. I was told the beverage machines had been down for a couple of days.😞

Always friendly and they have great food choices. All down home country food. Great prices too all around I definitely recommend.

Drove over an hour to get there from McDonough bc I have been wanting food from here Soo bad.. Terrible Idea!! Only had a very small selection of food. (Which wasn't well seasoned) Ribs were good though. The dessert area was mostly whip cream and pudding (giving lazy). This was my first and last time at this location. Plant City is the best. I'll stop by there on the way bk to Florida. Ohhh.. Our waitress was very attentive and the best part about our visit.
