Oldwest Cafe of Bedford is SO good. It is an unassuming spot that at first glance makes you want to ask if people REALLY eat there.. but the packed parking lot will confirm that question with a resounding yes! Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself! Check them out!! The food was well seasoned, flavorful, and plentiful. We definitely had to go boxes. The staff is SO nice and helpful with smiles. It's not the "I didn't want to come to work today" vibes offered at restaurants. These people actually look as if they enjoy working with one another. It makes a difference and that difference shows in their service. Top notch! Don't let the initial appearance fool you. Step in & let your taste buds do a happy dance. You won't regret it.

What an incredible menu. I wish I had lived nearby so I could try one of everything. My colleagues and I enjoyed a hearty breakfast, including the biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, and giant pancakes. I would love to return. Highly recommend a visit if you're into filling, flavorful southern brunch or breakfast food. Can't wait to come back.

This the best American breakfast I’ve had so far. This place will be a MUST from now on every time I visit the DFW area, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The waitress was really enthusiastic when she recommended us the best meals on the menu, I got the Texas Wrangler which is HUGE. I really mean it, you can always ask for a box if you don’t finish the whole meal but , it wasn’t my case since I had to catch up a flight.

Great customer service... Food was also good with the portion amount and the pancakes were huge 👌, arrived at 1:45 pm and they closed at 2 pm they still treated us politely and never rushed us....Thanks for your quality food and service

Stopped into OWC this morning after reading the reviews and all I can say is WOW! Our incredibly friendly server took our drink order and quickly informed us they are known for their chicken fried steak, pancakes, and omelets-naturally we had to get all 3! The CFS was absolutely hand breaded and seasoned well. It was served over biscuits and sausage gravy, and topped off with perfect over medium eggs. The HUGE blueberry pancake was fluffy, and so flavorful. The omelette had the perfect amount of spice from the jalapeños, and was cooked so well. Compliments to the cooks on today’s meal and the staff for their friendly service and inviting atmosphere. Take a picture with John Wayne while you’re there!

Stopped for brunch on our way to Fort Worth and we were pleasantly surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the ingredients. The menu is fairly extensive, but I just got a simple low carb option. My wife had the pancake (singular) - which was HUGE!! Lol The atmosphere was friendly and everyone was kind as well. Definitely recommend.

Lovely experience for a first timer!!! I had a great experience at this place. Customer service on point. Tasty food. Amazing coffee. The chicken fried steak a must try!!! Let’s be honest I’m not a fan of gravy, but this dish changed my perspective. Crunchy potatoes and more goodness. Please you must order the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes when you are here!!!
