What a delight! The professional, well-thought out theme park — but with a western charm — was wonderful! Staff were helpful and fun-living. They truly love what they do. The shows in the saloon were seasonally-perfect. There is a variety of food available. I included the food menu/prices in the photos. My family will definitely attend again next year! Well-done!

Had a wonderful time on the ghost tour last night 🌙 What a great way to celebrate Halloween! And the guides were fantastic! Thank you Rob and Preston! I took my 80 year old Dad who uses a walker and he was so appreciative of the extra TLC from the guides due to his mobility. We both had a great experience! Thank you kindly! I've included a few photos including the EMF lighting up indicating spiritual activity in the ballroom/saloon. It also lit up entirely in the courthouse at the lower corner of a window * very fascinating. And I checked electrical outlets and other sources of energy and it didn't react at all... spooky and very fun! Highly recommend*

They are recently under new management, and you cannot pay to just wander around and look at stuff. We went on Jan 1 thinking we could explore for an afternoon, but no. You have to pay $15 and take the guided tour at specific times--check before you go so you're not waiting 45 min like we did. None of the shops or concessions inside were open, just the main gift shop. Content-wise, if you're a real western movie buff, this would be a great tour. Even a movie lover might rate it a B. Average Joe would find much of the info too detailed and out of context. The tour lasts an hour. It sounds like they are doing old west-type shows from Jan 20 til May, so that may be a better time to go.

Visiting Old Tucson is literally like stepping back in time to the 1800s old West. The scenery and costumes are very authentic. The role players walking around Old Tucson are very helpful while staying in character. I recently attended the Yuletide holiday event at Old Tucson and it was amazing! The holiday lighting and music along with the fragrance of baked desserts, hot chocolate, and the scent of firewood take you to a place and time I long for especially during the Christmas season. There were a variety of performances throughout Old Tucson that repeated several times to allow each visitor to attend all of them. The acts included a magic show, a stunt show, photos with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, etc. Almost all of the shows are outdoors so check the weather and dress accordingly. There is a story line that runs all evening long and you get bits of the story at each performance. It begins with the arrival of Santa at the "West Pole" for the lighting of the Christmas tree in the town square which is interrupted by the antagonist, Jack Frost. There are carolers who appear in different places around town to sing traditional holiday songs. Watch for the elves who mysteriously appear on the roof of the courthouse to crack jokes and make witty comments to the crowd below. The food in the park is decent, but way overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. The desserts are delicious, but also expensive. They do provide a small (8 oz.) beverage cup with your meal that is eligible for free refills anywhere in the park. Other than food and souvenirs there are no additional expenses beyond the admission price. I would highly recommend purchasing your tickets online so you can save $5 per person. I also suggest you arrive 30+ minutes before the gates open in order to park in the main parking lot. Otherwise it may be necessary to park in an overflow parking lot that is a significant walking distance to the gate. I did not see any shuttle service operating the time I visited. Old Tucson is definitely worth a visit anytime you happen to be in the Tucson area!

My family went and had an excellent time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The performers are all great. It reminds me of a 🎄 Christmas Hallmark. We had hamburgers and fries that were delicious. Afterwards we had hot chocolate and a gingerbread cookies. The train ride was so 🆒😎. The carousel 🎠 ride was fun. The security guard Ron helped us with directions. Thanks everyone.

We were there during off season, they said. So, we had to take the tour and were not able to just walk around freely. There was the street with the saloon on corner We didn't get to go to. But, other than that, it was cool to see where a lit of Westerns were filmed. The tour guide was knowledgeable.

The staff were excellent - they made a difference in the experience. There were a lot of lines to get drinks, food, and rides though. And some rides were breaking down. Our suggestion would be to provide more wagons for your hayride than just one and have more than one bar for a whole park (and not have it where the play is taking place - too disruptive). We did like that the whole experience was bundled into one price.

Overall the experience was great. We arrived in the morning and it wasn’t crowded at all, but picked up as the day went on. The cast and crew are what really made it worthwhile. There were a couple cast members we never saw perform in a show, but they engaged us as we were walking around and were hilarious. The Annie Can Can-Can show was our favorite of the ones we saw, we definitely enjoyed the humor. We were also impressed with how talented the singers were during The Ballad of Bonney Will, however we felt bad that the performance was interrupted by people leaving to check out the Hotel del Toro Robbery. We had caught that show earlier in the day, but it would be nice if they could be staggered. At the advice of the blacksmith, who we enjoyed a lot, we ate at Big Jake’s BBQ. The pulled pork, brisket, and fries were all delicious and the serving sizes were generous. There was also a decent selection of local craft beer. I am deducting a star because the website information needs to be updated. I was really upset that I read the rules about clear bags, only to enter and realize more women than not had their regular full-sized handbags. If you’re going to have a clear bag policy, enforce it or (better yet) don’t have one. I felt like I was being punished for following the rules. The website says no smoking/vaping which is understandable throughout the park, but there was a smoking section as soon as you entered. By all means, continue to keep smoking restricted to a certain area, but don’t say no smoking and then have a smoking area. Only other gripe was that the showtimes could have been listed in a better format on the map (chronologically, for example… or even a time table). We definitely want to see Old Tucson succeed under new ownership and plan to return for Nightfall and maybe some of the other events. I’ll be happy to update my review to 5 stars if the website is fixed.
