Old Town Cafe - Family restaurant in Sand Springs - 207 N Lincoln Ave, USA

I got the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes & green beans. The hamburger steak was edible & the green beans weren't the worst I've ever had but the mashed potatoes were the absolute worst I've ever experienced in my 59 years of life & I had an Aunt that could boil water. I literally couldn't eat them & I've never met a bad potatoe. A little surprised by how horrible they were. The taste was a cross between old stale rolls & what I imagine a dirty foot taste like. I expected homemade fresh mashed 🥔, not nasty instant. It came with a roll that was decent. 🍞

loved this hole in wall diner. breakfast served all day. today I ordered the Philadelphia steak sandwich and it was amazing. Hoagie bun was toasted perfectly adding a good soft crunch to the mix. steak was Mixes with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and the right amount of cheese. I highly recommend this sand. got a side salad and it was a nice little side. service was great. greated at the door, was given the option to choose our seat, and the lady took our drink orders and passed us off to our server. excellent Experience

My husband does breakfast with friends here. This was my first time. I'm not going to lie, I didn't have high hopes for this place. But oh was I wrong! The service was friendly and ATTENTIVE. I just can't say enough good things about the food! Fresh, appropriate temperature, nice size servings and the taste was great! That was the best fried okra I've had in many years! 😋 We will probably become regulars. 🙂 **Note: I wasn't able to give five stars for one big reason: It was HOT in there. We were wearing shorts and sticking to the seats. Apparently it's the norm for the owner to be conservative with both the AC and heat. (Per staff)

Food and service is always good. I'm disappointed they don't offer senior plates and won't let you order from kids menu. They put way too much food on the plate for me to eat and most foods are not good once taken home in a box. I now have to find a friend to go with me so we can split an order.

Why the heck aren't the cook or establishment to blame or be responsible for undercooking it?? They cooked it right??? They have it on their menu that their not to blame for them not cooking your food fully so you don't get food poisoning or something. What a loving caring community cafe ❤️❤️🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

This place is a very friendly homey atmosphere, we enjoyed the delicious meals, and so good pricing for each wide dish. You'll never ever regret visiting this amicable place with your siblings after attending the church. And if you wonder where to go afterwards, just drive two minutes to visit, dine and enjoy. We've been coming here for years and absolutely love it. The porkchops breakfast is my favorite and you get alot of food for what you pay. The old decoration on the walls are pretty cool to look at while your waiting. The staff is friendly
