We have been traveling to Taos for nearly 30 years. We will never stay anywhere else again! The Old Taos Guesthouse has always been ideally located close to town with amazing views. However, now that they have added the new casitas, we can the choose historic beauty of the original inn or newly built spacious living, with every perfect nod to history and attention to southwest architecture and decor. The yummy breakfast is the perfect way to start the day and the views of the gorgeous mountains are a perfect way to end it. Having wonderful, kind inn keepers with great recommendations allowed us to fully enjoy the amazing stay!
I could not be more impressed with my stay at Old Taos Guesthouse. The rooms were very nice and comfortable but I'm most impressed with the service from Bob and Sarah. They were so sweet and went out of their way for us. The breakfast was also AMAZING and they tailored it to us. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for somewhere to get away.
Second visit to this lovely B&B and has become our favorite. The location is close to Plaza but feels far away situated in a tranquil setting. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with each one beautifully and uniquely decorated. The breakfast is hot and homemade with appetizing presentation. We will be back!
Beautiful bed and breakfast with lovely common areas and amazing hospitality. If you are lucky, your breakfast will include their amazing tamale eggs. So yummy!
This is a lovely family-owned B&B in the outskirts of Taos. Each room is different, so I suggest you read the descriptions and/or talk with the owners before booking. Beds are very comfortable; pillows and towels are good. Breakfast is delicious and just the right size. Accommodations can be made for dietary restrictions (we are vegetarians and it worked out great). |It was extremely hot when we were visiting and Sarah helped us move to a more airy room and gave us extra fans.
What a great place. From the history, to the clean and comfortable accommodations, to the wonderful inn keepers, to the location, to the breakfasts. The entire experience was 5 star.
We would highly recommend the Old Taos Guesthouse !!!
This place is a gem! The rooms perfect, location quiet and beautiful yet close to town. The hosts are kind, accommodating and good people. I plan to return for longer stay. One of my favorite places now...really good energy. Thank you!
We enjoyed this hacienda immensely. The location is pretty special--only minutes from Taos Historical District with easy access and plenty of parking; the accommodations were splendid. The lady attending the property was exceptional, provided a very good small and healthy breakfast. Unfortunately there was too much wind to have a fire pit but the views were great. The problem that keeps me from rating this a 5 is we experienced an incident of another guest couple with 2 dogs that they never put on leashes. These dogs chased my wife at the front walk and most definitely would have bit her had she not managed to get in our room and shut the door behind her. When I went out the man with the dogs quickly disappeared around the corner of the property. I immediately raised the issue with the lady attending the property and she handled it immediately. The other couple departed within 10 minutes from the property. My recommendation for this property and others is for the owners to specifically require, without exception, that all animals be under the owners' control by leash or other control device.
Me and my Partner had the pleasure of staying in Casita A while we stayed for an extended time in Taos. The property is peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Casita, it is incredibly cozy and includes everything you need. The kit
It has been a long Path leading me to this sacred place. I've been in temples with Baba-ji in my Sleeping Dreams, however this visit was my first in my Waking Dream. The love and dedication of his devotees is everywhere you look; the scents and sound
First time to Taos skiing and stayed here several days in the large main home. Lots of space with a big kitchen, living and dining area. Our group had for adults and seven kids, mostly teenagers. Kids took over the big dining table for card games etc
This place looks like itâs not in Taos! Itâs a hidden gem inside of the Taos Valley Lodge hotel. Spacious, super clean, welcoming. Large variety of coffees and tea shakers, along with some baked goodies and burritos. Fast wi-fi and lots of space
This is a delicious little food truck!!! Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. The fries and onion rings are some of the best I've had! The staff is super friendly and proces are reasonable!!
Just about the best hike I ever had. May be a little more intimidating than you expected, but it makes sense once you get to the top. Well worth persisting, with many small payoffs in the form of fascinating geology and breathtaking views along the w
Had an outstanding experience staying here. Rooms are spacious, charming, and comfortable, the value is excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful and personable. What puts it above and beyond other options is the free breakfast spread, which was
