Love that this place is right next to my favorite book store Underground Books. Cozy spot for comfort food, the smell of fresh coffee and relaxing music. Enjoyed reading my new book and having a light dinner by myself 🤍
Stopped by for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The BLT was good but could have used a more flavorful sauce. It was just the right amount of food for one. The Arnold palmer was fine but needed a little more tart to it. I did however enjoy the ambiance featuring wooden fixtures, seating, and large windows. Lots of people studying or working on computers. A good place to relax for a quick meal or work session. I would stop by in the morning next time as I’ve heard good things about their breakfast sandwiches.
The best food places are always mom and pop stores. Old soul @40 Acres may not look like the most trending place but the food is amaaaaazing! I tried the Carnitas Breakfast Sandwich and OMG it is deliciously succulent! And I read about the coffee and tried the coffee black and ouhhh it was: silky, smooth honey like background sweetness, full bodied and crip. The first sip awakens all the dormant cells of your taste buds for a magical adventure. The sandwich is as tasty as it looks... Can you imagine they add avocado at the bottom by default before adding the egg and pulled pork, what a fabulous combination. And the team is just as chilled and very welcoming as the food was to my stomach. Really great experience.
Made a last minute decision to eat here and I’m glad I did. I’ve always heard about Old Soul in lists for the best coffee in Sacramento but was unaware they had such good food too. The Biscuits & Gravy with eggs and bacon were amazing. The gravy wasn’t too salty or greasy, the eggs were seasoned perfectly and the bacon was just crispy enough. The Carnitas Breakfast Sandwich was also really good. The drinks we ordered were a hot Vanilla Latte, iced Mocha and Lavender Lemonade, all were great. There is no doubt I will be back to try more from this place. 4.9/5.

Calm, clean, and cozy atmosphere. They have good IPAs, and of course, their coffee is excellent!
Saw this place across the street from where I was going. The ambience of a corner store will draw you in and the character of the building. The menu will make you ponder what to get. It's very in and out for clients on the weekend.Counter person was nice. A tad on the pricey side. The latte I got was yummy and different. Their food looked okay but didn't try. Would try again. Limited parking!
My favorite coffee shop! The best ambiance! It provided me much comfort during grad school and my exams. I still stop by to read and just get a cup of coffee. I also love eating breakfast here. Excellent natural lighting!
