Every visit to Marathon, the first thing we pack is our bikes for Old 7. Always a relaxing 4 mile bike ride whether at sunrise or sunset in the middle of the Gulf/Atlantic. A must do when in Marathon.
Gorgeous place ! Visited first time and I loved it .We had a beautiful day and even better sunset. It’s about 2h drive from Homestead !
It's a bridge. 4.8 miles out, 4.8 back. Maybe visit Pidgeon Key if it's open, they have a summer camp for your kids, if you don't like dealing with them ;). They do wildlife conservation, marine life research, and have historical exhibits. No place to stay, too small. Leave before dark, its essentially a big building. Please respect the wildlife, there isn't much left down here. If you're lucky, you might see a shark or a dolphin in the water. Not a great birdwatching spot. They have shark pens, if you want to hear about them. Go snorkeling! Bring your boat! They're nice out there. Have a nice walk! Or bike. Remember to bring water!
Went fishing, got some bites. Easy parking . Well kept facility.
If you are like me, I always wondered what the road was that lied next to the 7 mile bridge. Being able to walk the old railroad turned road to Pigeon Key was absolutely awesome. It is 2 miles one way. I highly reccomend bringing a water bottle and polarized glasses. We saw turtles and nurse sharks in the water from the walk! They have garbage cans every .2 miles which allows you to discard any trash you might have. Parking is simple, right off the 1 before the bridge and it is free!
Walked twice to Pigeon Key. Wonderful to walk or bike. Didn't take the tour - we were too late. Last tour at 2pm
Very cool, we road our bike down the bridge. Parking lot got full fast, tight if try to park of cars going in and out and people walking. Glad we parked down the road a little.
So fun to bike this old bridge. The views are amazing and seeing the old structure is really cool

I stop in any chance I get when I'm in Marathon. Excellent coffee, and warm and attentive service. This is a true gem of the Florida Keys. Totally carries on the independent, traditional spirit of the the keys combined with the modernity of artisanal
Just finished 3 days in 3 different settings, and took my wife a couple years back, so I am a return client. Kevin was referred to me by another local guide, who I have also been fishing with. Kevin is a very knowledgeable captain who has excellent a
This place was our favorite discovery in the whole trip. Awesome vibes, great live music, pet friendly and an AMAZING dishes made it by a Hawaiian chef. We had to wait a little bit than usual, but I think itâs because it was January 1st. It was a
I stopped by and purchased 2 cigars; one robusto maduro and one torpedo maduro... I went back 3 days later and bought 16 more. The owner sat with me and explained to me how he made the cigars and where the leafs came from. Drop in and buy a few, ask
Excellent place to stay. We camped here for a month. Staff are outstanding especially maintenance and front office personnel. Small but clean and nice with no tree or water hazards which is appreciated with the winds in the keys. It's also nice that
Had an amazing time with Captain Matt and first mate Sam. We went out with 6 of us. 2 Adults and 4 kids ages (14,8,7,6). We couldn't ask for a better experience. They were amazing with the kids. They are extremely professional, friendly, and got us t
