A beautiful place to visit with lots of history. The tour is self-guided with lots of information and artifacts. The "Lone Woman" was very interesting and they have put together a room on her. Lots of art from the 1700s and 1800s. The friars, from the story of the place were gardeners, but I found it ironic that the square and the rose gardens were all being cared for by contracted workers. This is still an operating mission.
Nice architecture and a cool adjacent park with some good views of the mountains and the ocean. Didn’t go for the tour so really only spent about 20 minutes walking around but worth a quick stop for sure!
Anyone visiting Santa Barbara should make the time to visit this historic and well-preserved Mission and museum. It is the last California mission that still provides church services to the community.
This is a beautiful spot to take in some reflection. I didn't go on the tour, I attended mass. We were dismissed through the courtyard, which gave me a peak. Nice lawn for a picnic, free parking in the lot.
It's a nice, peaceful little historic compound. Very pretty and well-tended, with a large courtyard, an old church, and burial ground shaded by a majestic fig tree. There's also a small history museum you can look at at the end.
I spent about 45 minutes here. The admission was $25. While the place is pleasant, I feel that the value is not very good.
Beautiful architecture, priceless antiques and fascinating history in this still functioning mission founded and run by the Franciscan priests. Remnants of native American structures and even an ancient section of an aqueduct show how this was once a fully self-supporting establishment. A must see in SB.
Don't miss the wall plaque marking the death of the lady from the book Island of the Blue Dolphins in the right corner of the cemetery.
Military discount admission was $13.
I liked the laundry artifact out front.
Curiously, the info all seemed to make it like the native Americans liked being under the thumb of the Spanish.

The best F45 I've been to. Class was packed with almost 50 members. All the coaches, specifically Coach Katrina, found time to motivate and challenge me through one of the best workouts I've had in months.
The staff and the owner are some of the most positive and motivating people I've ever met. Workouts are intense, but fun at the same time. You pay for a complete experience when you sign up. The instructors push you as if they are your personal train
Excellent newer pizza place in town. Loved the quality of the food. The lemon mushroom pizza was our favorite, closely followed my the margharita. The hawaiian was OK, definitely check out the prior two. Value for the pizza was not too bad, about

My Husband and I just moved to Santa Barbara from the East Coast. We are big fans of Caje coffee and this spot has a wonderful coffee mocktail program in the morning. We went here shortly after arriving and fell in love with their âLSDâ cocktail
I just liked the home drafted wine here. They are customer friendly. I just walked down to this place to purchase some good wine to gift my good people for dinner. Both the waiter at this location ( like behind the 24 hr fitness center) helped me to
A nice little coffee shop in downtown Santa Barbara! We stopped in to get a snack and ended up sitting down in the courtyard outside to enjoy the yummy coffee and sunshine. They share the space with other local restaurants/cafes, so there were plenty
