If you like animals, live music, and beverages while you see animals and hear music, then this is the place for you. Incredibly family friendly, so I love coming here with the kids to unwind after a long day. They also do free Wednesdays which is so nice! I usually just pack a picnic and then purchase hay to feed the animals. I have also done their Halloween party and their Easter party. What a great place!

Fridays at the Farm. Do you enjoy sitting outside, listening to a live band, sipping in your favorite beverage, and trying out some local food trucks? Well you can get all this and more at Fridays at the Farm. Many young families with kids enjoy this place. It is for all ages.

Costumes are lovely on the animals love the creativity but probably should put the costumes on the animals properly cuz some of the goats have their costumes falling off making them unable to walk Nice place for families with small children, my friends and I are young adults but we still had friends spending time with the animals and being close to nature

We hosted a “Songs on a Farm” celebration at Old Mill Farm last Sunday. It was a blast! We had 80 guests, 10 of which were young children. There was so much to occupy the children that the families could stay all three hours! We had a band and most of us sang songs, with lyrics showing on a screen. The staff at the farm made everything so easy, arranging tables, chairs, and umbrellas perfectly, troubleshooting technology questions, and serving a great variety of local beers and wine. Everyone had so much fun and felt they had discovered a gem of a place. We’ll be returning!

It’s MAGICAL!!! I went on a Wednesday evening, because it was free to the public. I was the only person, at the time, probably because it was HOT. Anyways, it was more than I could imagine! I spent time feeding and petting the goats. The babies were my favorite. Next time, I’m going to cuddle with one. Wide range of beverages, alcoholic and non. I went there on a solo adventure and so happy I did. A lovely staff member must have known that I’ve always thought this place to be full of magic because she let me see the kittens!!! That was AMAZING and WONDERFUL!!! I’m so grateful! This place is great on one’s own or with family and friends. I can guarantee that you’ll leave happier than when you arrived! Come and experience the magic of Old Mill Farm!

What a wonderful place!!! I helped plan our company picnic and it was a HUGE success!! The venue has so much to offer, with lots of animals, beautiful scenery, fun carnival games, toy set and the BEST STAFF EVER! Seriously, I have planned so many events and Kylee and her team were just amazing! They were so outgoing and kind and when our vehicle broke down, let us stay in the AC until we were able to get home safely. (It ended up being a late night and was extremely generous). Thank you Old Mill Farm for a great event...we look forward to many more to come!

I love this place for kid AND adult events! I've been to a private evening rental "Girls Night" and now we just went to the "Baby Goat Snuggle" event going on in April 2021. Worth every penny. It is a small farm and very relaxing. Perfect for these smaller events. There is one restroom indoors and it's super clean and charming. Some lovely seating areas. We're excited to do summer camp. Very cool resource for Durham and Chapel Hill families!!!

Really liked our time here. There were just a few other families there so distancing was no problem. Price includes some warm apple cider and a small cup of feed for the goats. Getting right up into the goats pen and petting them is really a good experience for the kids.
