Important note: despite the name, this is not a hotel. It's a very delicious restaurant, ❤️ Absolutely a gem of a place to grab food. Rural Montana may be the last place you'd expect to find authentic Hawaiian food but here it is. The story of this place and how the current owners built it up to be a staple of this community is amazing. They have cocktails as well so you can complete your Hawaiian getaway with tiki drinks on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Be sure to get the take and bake sticky buns (we had the caramel pecan ones and they were incredible). In short: give this place all your money. You won't be disappointed!
Went to the restaurant inside and it was amazing. The food was so delicious we got a double order to go, everyone was very friendly, and I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!!
I honestly didn’t realize this place was a restaurant the first many times I drove past it, however it is in fact a restaurant, and a *really* good one at that. This place serves up top tier Hawaiian food and homemade ice cream a whopping 3 days a week, so get there while you can! We got to meet the owners when we went and they were wonderful people! I am very much looking forward to going back!
We had a wonderful brunch here - our first time. The food was delicious, attractively plated and the quantity was generous. Loved our server, Kristin - so informative and very courteous. Really appreciated that we weren't rushed and Kristin happily boxed up everything we couldn't finish, butters and jams included at the end of the meal. Look forward to coming back.
The Old Hotel is one of those places you might not have heard about unless you live in the area. It is in an "old hotel" building, but has been renovated nicely. The really great thing about this restaurant though is the incredible food. I have eaten here twice in the last two years (while I was in the area to do some flyfishing). Both times the menu was different and unique with dishes I have never had, but that were delicious and well worth the visit. The wine list is good for such a restaurant and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress, Ruth, was attentive and took great care of us. I will always return to this restaurant when I am in this area.
Never disappoints. We look forward to our "destination dining" every year. Wish we could come more often. Truly a meal of exquisite flavors, textures and aromas that pleases all the senses. Outstanding hospitality and charming ambiance. A "must" experience and your loss if you dont!
Had brunch today at the historic (1879) Old Hotel. Delightful experience. Both breakfast and lunch are available. Entrees are unique and well done. Wonderful atmosphere. Very comfortable, bright , cheerful and warm. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely enjoyed it. It's a drive for us, but we will definitely be back again.
The food was wonderful, we had to yummy breakfast omelet and the lunch special was exceptional. It was a delicious and unique combination of flavvor. The waitresses we had were young and could use better training and dress more appropriately for such a nice restaurant.
