We completely enjoyed our stay at the Old Hawaiian B and B! The hosts were wonderful, the rooms were cozy, the grounds were amazing and the breakfast for delicious! We were so pleased with everything. If we return to Hilo, we will hope this is available! So happy that the hosts opened their lovely place up to visitors…it allowed us to experience another incredible aspect of the island! Thank you!
Very nice B&B in a good neighborhood. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, well-appoined. We loved being able to have the windows open to hear the birds at night. Slept wonderfully. Breakfast was excellent. The entire experience left us with a good feeling for Hilo, without the big-hotel, touristy gitz.
This was an excellent place to stay. The breakfasts were amazing, the grounds are incredible, the location is great and the rooms are cute. The details are very clear and straightforward on the website. The lack of A/C was not a problem for us.
Always a favorite place for us. Lovely room with well thought out amenities in place. Very delicious breakfast on the porch looking over the spacious beauty of the generous back garden that leads to the river. A good place to stay and relax.
We enjoyed our stay at the Old Hawaiian B&B. Lory and Stewart were excellent hosts. The breakfasts they made for us were full of delicious local fruits and baked goods. Their backyard was beautiful and the Lanai was a nice place to take it all in. Wonderful experience overall. We would return for sure!
Whatever you do, don't miss the breakfast. It was fabulous! Gorgeous surroundings and very peaceful setting. Everything was clean and well kept. The host was friendly and helpful. There are three rooms that share a lanai where breakfast is served. It was a great place to stay. We will stay there again when we go back.
Great place to stay in Hilo. Reasonable price & good location. The service was perfect. The room is big & the bed was very comfortable. There is no AC in the room, but we did not feel it was necessary.|The breakfast includes local fruits & homemade bread with coffee. It was suitable for my wife, but I personally prefer vegetables in the breakfast. It was not a problem preparing it by myself after purchasing the necessary vegetables in a local supermarket.|This B&B is highly recommended for a couple with limited budget looking for a comfortable & quite location.
Wonderful place! The room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and filling and included homemade baked goods and fresh local fruits. Breakfasts were served on the lanai, where we met other guests and discussed our day's plans. Owner Lory was happy to share sightseeing tips and restaurant recommendations as well as answer any and all questions.

So thankful we stayed here, got a completely different and intimate experience from our first half of our stay in Waikoloa. Our room was right off of the front porch so we had a nice area to sit and unwind before dinner each evening. Brian and his wi
Itâs an only outdoor sitting but they have canopies. Itâs basically food truck with seats under canopies so you can order at the food truck and get a seat and wait then they serve food to you. I ordered beef pho, dumplings and 2 cold noodles. It

You can experience some out of the world views from here (plan for the sunset). And its a great drive, even if you do not plan to visit the summit. Please do not miss this spot in the Big Island!
Very pretty and informative walking path through an area with diverse plant life and good birdwatching. Most of the hike is in a gated (not locked) enclosure to keep pests out. The entire walk is paved, and there is a small observation platform along
