I highly recommend visiting Old Falls Village Historical Museum and specifically, their Saturday afternoon / evening beer garden with live local entertainment. The beer is from local breweries and you can also order food. The vibe is family oriented and very relaxed and enjoyable in a park setting. There are tables, picnic tables in a shelter with festive lighting or you can bring your own chairs. We love visiting this place!
This place is constantly adding new events each year. They are an amazing group that runs this place. They have a beer garden with a great selection of constantly rotating beers. Dog friendly. My wife, kids, dogs and I visit it at least once every weekend to get outside and see the events. Please come and support this place so the city of Germantown doesn't knock it all down and build condos/apartments. There are very few places like this left.
First time being here and I loved it!! The buildings, land and people were all great!! My son attended the WWII event and everyone that was dressed in character had took me to that place and time!! My son plays a fair share of video games qnd also too thought that it was straight out of his games!!! We definitely will be back again!!
The family friendly events in the park are amazing and educational. I highly recommend Revolutionary War, WWII Days and WWI Reenactment.

Absolutely wonderful little historical village. They host a variety of events through the year, from recreations of WWII to swing dances, there's is always something happening at the village to make the trip up worthwhile. Check their schedule to see what is available!
