If you're trying to escape the heat but don't want to pay... Just bring a chair and a cold drink and come here and relax. Plenty of shade, quiet, nice breeze, not too crowded... Big park, there's a water fountain and benches for a picnic. Horseshoe, trees, gazebos and nice grass.
Thanks for the wonderful disc golf course.
I always really enjoy this park. Sometimes I come here on my lunch break. Once in a while my girlfriend and I come here for a "duck date" to look at the ducks and geese in the pond. The pond is fenced, so no one should accidentally fall in the pond or be attacked by the geese (the white goose seems chill but the brown colored one is a bit of bully). We also saw some huge frogs in the pond once, and usually see a couple of turtles. The park also offers a fire pit, some grills, trash/recycling, and picnic tables. There's a little spring that runs through the park that feeds the pond, and a disc golf course nearby. There are bathrooms at the park, I'm not sure how the women's side is, but the men's was a bit run down and had some graffiti, but it's a place to go if needed. There are some showers in there, but they look like they haven't been operational for quite some time.
It was one of the worse courses I've played on. All the course signs/maps detailing next holes were old, worn out and unreadable. You were guessing the next hole layout. Lots of sand cactus and tall weeds. It was very easy to loss disc's. I quit after 7 holes. The course needs a lot of TLC and updating. The surrounding mountains and hills were spectacular. I've been playing for over 15 years.
This is a nice little city park with good shady benches located around the park. I do appreciate the variety of skill level structures. The only downfall I would say is the last couple of times we went there, There was a police presence somewhere in the park as it’s a big grassy field around it.. not sure if it was just a domestic argument or something.
It's a nice park, with all the amenities you could ask for. It's got horshoe pits, basketball courts. There is also a stage for live music and or performances.
Excellent park. Great grassy area and lots of room. Quiet. Great view of course!
Great place to get away from the busy Moab tourist scene. Room to play, and only 12 minutes from downtown by car. Disc golf, grassy fields and shade trees all help make this place special.
Coming from desert and woods riding this was a slower pace with incredible traction on slants of all degrees. A lot of fun on unbelievable terrain! Stopped for a break and had lots of help offered by people on all types of bikes and machines. A plac
Just passing through the area, I stopped at Lions Park and Bike Path Trailhead in Moab for a quick hike. It is not a very long trail from what I could see (unless the path is obscured by vegetation!), but the trail crosses the Colorado River and pass
Special place! Large musical park with life size xylophones and bells. Both my five year old and toddler love it. Maintenance crew was there at the beginning of the day, appears like it was to restore flood damage. Take your kids here!
I experienced Skydive Moab with the brilliant pilot Dustin and cameraman and owner Keith yesterday! With such precision to safety and an epic experience everything was handled and I just had to fly. I came to Moab from Park City to film an upcoming s
A great place to stay!. Everything worked just fine. The whole place was very clean with plenty of extra towels, pillows and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was clean and worked great!. The host was quick to respond but did
Awesome trail! We were the only ones riding up. Did it with a Sasquatch Ford Bronco and jeep with 37s and 3 in lift and both were taking on the trail without too much problem. Couldn't take the cars all the way to the top as it was all snowed/icy so
I had a great experience at Desert Power Yoga. Finding a good yoga studio can be challenging, especially when visiting a new place. Desert Power Yoga stands out because of its welcoming community, excellent teachers, and well-balanced classes. I felt

My husband and 4yo daughter stayed at the Red Moon Lodge this weekend. Upon waking my husband said, "That is the best night sleep I've ever had" and I would agree! The beds were so comfortable, the sheets soft, perfect temp, and so quiet. We woke to
Quicksand Soup's Wednesday show at the Backyard Theater is the best place to be in Moab. The five musicians are incredibly talented, both in their playing and singing. The crowd is almost entirely locals, and I'm pretty sure I was the only non-Americ
What a wonderful place to eat breakfast, lunch, or grab some coffee in Moab! The staff is super friendly and kind. If you have celiac disease or other dietary restrictions, this is the place to go. They were VERY careful to listen to my requests and
On Park Ave trail when you come around the corner and see Courthouse towers it takes your breath away. Its a massive formation up out of the ground standing by itself. The shadows at dawn are especially beautiful as you can see the shapes of the ro
