This place is one of my favorite spots to visit. It is a great spot for people to go to if they want a place to just go sit and clear their mind. I love the fact that it has trails that you can walk. They now have it where it is open 24 hours a day for fishing and stuff. It doesn't have a big playground, but it's a great spot for kids to run around and let off energy. You can get a shelter for parties and picnics here without having to pay for it, which is a plus for people who can't afford to rent a shelter for special events. I would leave 5 stars if they had usable bathrooms.
This was my family and I’s first time at this lake. We saw people fishing and even a man in a kayak on the lake. The scenery was beautiful. I really wouldn’t recommend this place as a playground because it only has two swings and one slide, but I would recommend this as a family outing. My daughter had a blast. She even made a new friend and caught a frog! This place was beautiful will be definitely going again.
This is one of Lexington's most beautiful gems! Not only a great spot for any one to fish, lounge by the soothing sounds of the dam, and to bring children to swing and slide; this stunning body of water is a pleasure and a half to paddle! On any sort of self-propelled water traverser, this blue diamond is guaranteed to satisfy!
It's a cool place to go,but it really needs a restroom here. You see a lot of evidence of used restroom items. It needs a update on everything to be more safe.
My doggos love taking a dip in the creek and I love the nature! Double win! 😁 Doggie walk turned into saving an owl!
Carried two young children I mentor we fished had a Great time it has a small park an play ground the had a blast we will go again soon
Old City Lake is a great area to fish and relax in the quiet trees. Great for picnics, leisure fishing, or just need a great place to breathe some fresh air.
Nice lake for fishing and picnicking, has great potential but seems to be neglected. there was no access to public restroom when I was there. the doors were padlocked.

We came here to kayak Lake Thom-A-Lex. Nice size lake with little boat traffic, mostly fishing boats. There is a boat ramp for trailers and a small beach put in for kayaks. Small fee of $4 for launching a kayak. Good size parking and no frills bathro
Hubby and I did a tasting, he found 3 of 5 sweets to his liking. I enjoyed 2 of 5 dry. Lovely woman served us, knowledgeable. Bought a couple of bottles to enjoy on the relaxing patio, ate our picnic dinner while the sun went down. Music Bingo start
Went here for our 3 year anniversary to have a night alone and it's clean and has a full kitchen with cooking utensils and the tub is a good size for the amount of money they ask per night I definitely recommend it
