OLD BUKHARA - Uzbeki restaurant in Morganville - 14 US-9, USA

Bukhara is an ancient City in Uzbekistan and if you like Eastern European food you will love it. Every dish we tried was perfection from soup to appetizer to desert. The service was outstanding. The waiter’s recommendation were spot on. We can’t wait to return soon. It is a small restaurant, very nice atmosphere, I would suggest to make reservation for a group larger than 4. Of course you can order take out food.

It’s a real gem in the middle of New Jersey! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious Uzbek cuisine! I’ve never seen such a big portions for the prices they have. Moreover, it’s really a great quality of the food and authentic taste. I don’t know how they managed to do so, but hand down, it was just the best place around to dine in. The service, notably from Sam, was exceptional - attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. He took the time out to explain all the dishes and making the best recommendations! Service was very quick and everything came out fresh and hot!

I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the second time with my family, and we loved everything about it. The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere inside was nice and quiet. The service was also very efficient, ensuring that our meals were served promptly. We decided to explore some new items from the menu, such as the Varkhasha salad and Lagman. We were pleasantly surprised as these dishes surpassed our expectations. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying the Sofi Plov, Lamb kebab, and Samsa, which were all equally delicious. Having had such a wonderful experience, we are already looking forward to visiting this place more often.

I got the Pumpkin Samsa and Sofi Pilov. The Samsa balanced well with the Pilov but keep in mind that its a single piece for the price Would highly encourage Sofi Pilov, which is very simple but unique and tasty with a good serving size.

Plov was pretty good but oily. The lamb jiz was one of the toughest and saltiest I've had, and it only came with extremely salty potato chips too which didn't help. Wish the portions were bigger considering the price. Water comes in bottles so it costs money. We waited a while for our food even though we were one of the only tables.

This has become one of our favorites. The food here is delicious and they have some unique items like tongue on the menu. Definitely try their pizza and soups. Can't wait to go back.
