OL’ Henry Restaurant - Soul food restaurant in St. Louis - 8600 Airport Rd, USA

Omg this was my first time eating there if you want some real soul food go there please , everything is excellent even there employees so nice and appreciative and it's nice and clean you can eat there or take out. Please go support our black own business.

It might help if they had a menu displaying the meat selection for that day. When asked what type of meat was on the menu one the workers seemed annoyed and uninterested at even replying. We weren't asked if our food was to-go or dine in. ( even fast food asks this ?) The two women working the counter were friendly though. The condiments on the tables have been there for idk how long empty or hardly anything in the bottles of ketchup, mustard and hot sauce on the table. I asked the counter about hot sauce since all the bottles on the tables were empty and was told they didn't have anymore hot sauce and to take one from another table. When I heard another customer tell her daughter (find another hot sauce eww.. that looks old. Yea that's old.) Soda fountain and dining area and restrooms could use a little bit more cleaning detail as well. Not gone lie the food was good a bit pricey though not to even have condiments is crazy. At least I can know say I've ate here.

Very friendly staff they were very kind and understanding. The food was hot and ready to go it tasted fantastic I had jack salmon, Mac n cheese, and corn. I can say with confidence that it was all great. A little expensive for my taste, but you get what you pay for... good food and good service. I would recommend it.

I got pork chops rice and cabbage omg it was so good. They didn't really have a lot to choose from tho staff didn't really communicate well with each other and seemed to have attitudes when u asked questions about the food. I also saw they had customers come back and ask for food to be warmed up so I took mine home and warmed it up but thank God it was good. I personally wouldn't go back tho because service to me is half the battle. Also I went in for salmon bits and egg rolls they don't sell those items in store only on their food truck and that's only on Saturdays Outside the store.

I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was huge and didn’t look appetizing. The waffle was over cooked. My first and last time eating here. Had to give it a one star just to write my review

I tried the collard green egg rolls from the food truck and they were amazing!!! The greens were super tender with turkey meat and wrapped in a egg roll with this delicious sauce drizzled on top! Never had anything like that before. The only complaint is they are a little small fro the price, but it was worth every bite.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was ok. Felt it was more of a serve yourself restaurant. Came in the door and picked the food we wanted to eat. Sat down and had to serve ourselves our drinks. Asked for hot sauce, I was told to find it on a table. One bottle in the whole restaurant. No one came by to see if the food was good. There is no hand soap in the men's restroom. Employee came out and said this place is expensive for what you get. Did not think the price for 3 chicken thighs, cold baked mac and cheese cold sweet tators and 2 pieces of corn bread, 1 water, and 2 sodas was worth $75.

We had the Food Truck visit and serve us here at Lou Fusz. I had the Collard green egg rolls with smoked turkey inside and they were Out of this World Delicious! I also had the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with the Mac and Cheese plate it was Exceptional. Best Brisket I've ever had. Chef Anthony the food was Amazing and the Service top Notch! Can't wait for the next Visit!
