The food was so good! We were a party of 6, 4 adults, 2 kids. We had to wait about 30 mins to be seated on a Saturday night. We order some food right away and it came out really fast. I definitely recommend this place. Even the kids liked it! Great place to eat.
Almost everything was good, especially the scallop sashimi and the bbq beef bowl. However, the rolls were not great, a little bit messy and the ingredients were imbalanced. Still good value and tasty, but could be better.
First of all this place has a great customer service, they greet you as soon as you walk in and as soon as you walk out. Honestly it's kinda pricey but it's worth it. Very clean place and they have one of best spicy beef noodles soup out there. Try the rice ball in the soup and some good sushi. There used to have outdoor dining but o didn't see that anymore. Try their good selection of drinks and if you want something sweet they offer good diversity of teriyaki and bentos. They also have great desserts and ice cream. So if you're I'm town or just want to enjoy a good Japanese cuisine then this is the place.
Still great after 4 years not being back. One of the best grilled squid and beef udon. It's a bit more pricey for sure for the portion and could be a bit bigger.
Definitely one of our favorite sushi restaurants in Tustin. We have been coming here for years. Things have changed there's no longer a bar but they've added more seating. Try the sesame tofu. It's made in house at the Tustin location.
**I'm hoping they bring back the sake tasting!!
TLDR; too expensive for what they offer, better go to Meiji Seimen or Kin Craft izakaya.
We decided to try this place after there was a long wait at our usual izakaya.
Dishes were hit or miss. Here are some tips of what's good and what's not good.
First of all, don't go here for sushi. We ordered salmon and tuna. For the $6.5 price tag, the fish is thinly sliced on top of a lot of rice. Not worth it at all. Fried chicken cartilage was meh.
The udon and pork cutlet are good, really enjoyed it and recommend you get it if you end up coming here.
The thing that got me was the bill. For 4 people we ended up paying $200 and didn't even come close in flavor to our usual spots and more expensive.
Delicious as usual. My favorite dish this time was the salmon belly sushi, and they prepared it in some sort of special way. (Sorry I don't know how to describe it.) It feels a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for in terms of quality.
I came here for the first time on a Friday night around 8:30 and the wait was less than 30 minutes. We originally wanted to go to Honda-ya but this place was a much shorter wait. The location is inside a large shopping center
so there is plenty of parking. This is is pretty small and seems like it's busy all the time so be ready to be tightly packed in with everyone else. The front desk people were really nice and friendly.
There was two of us and we ordered the Japanese bbq beef bowl, classic udon, a house salad, grilled squid and the eel and avocado roll. My favorite was the japanese beef bowl because the beef was so tender and flavor was
perfect. My only thing was you get 6 pieces of steak and I wanted more! The grilled squid was really good too and they make their own dipping sauce. The udon was actually
better than expected because the broth was so flavorful. Salad is a salad but big enough to share. And eel avocado roll was pretty good as well.
All in all I was really happy with this place because the food was probably better than Honda-ya but you are also paying for it as well. But prices have gone up everywhere so not sure if other places have raised their prices this much as well. For two of us with no drinks, the bill came
out to about $75.

The beef/chicken veggie bowl is so good and perfect portion. They make their own teriyaki sauce; it's delicious! It's often crowded during lunch, but service is so fast. Their food is way better compared to Flame Broiler and the likes.
We love Kitajimas, the sushi is exquisite. We visit very often and bring friends that donât eat sushi but love Thai food. Itâs a very friendly and respectful place. Best Sushi and Thai food in Tustinð
Absolutely delicious traditional Japanese food. My lawyer found this spot while looking around Google earth and thought we should give it a try. The food here is the closest to Japanese quality I've found in socal. Soba was top notch and so was the u
Iâd like to start out that Miles is a GREAT game master! He was very informative and never broke character throughout our entire game, even when we ask for a hint. The room terminal was incredibly well decorated and the puzzles were a lot of fun! W
