Women's Alpine Adventure is a fantastic event! 💗 I had the pleasure of working with Sue G. and she is a phenomenal instructor. 5⭐ She is great at helping you adjust your form and coaching you through your rough spots. If you're newish to skiing, she is fantastic at explaining the different techniques and helping you put it all together on the mountain. If you've got questions, she's got the right answers. She showed me really cool things happening on Okemo and shared stories about all the fun times with past groups. Hanging out with Sue was like going to ski college! *It's important to note that this women's program is NOT tailored to beginners.* Although if you booked a lesson with Sue G. anytime during the season, you would be doing yourself a huge favor.💯% With the WAA 3 day program (2024), you get lunch vouchers and you get to check your skis on the mountain for the night. There's a reception the first evening with some yummy snacks and a bar (you buy your own drinks). It was great to connect with ladies who have a passion for skiing/boarding.⛷️🏂💪 There's also a place called the Springhouse(on the mountain) where you can pay for a Day Pass ($20) and use the hot tub/pool/gym there. There's yoga mats and room to stretch. It was a blissful way to end the day.🥰
Went skiing her for two days. I have to say, I was very impressed with their lift system and slopes. There are enough trails for all skill levels, and certainly enough space to explore. We really liked the express lifts, since they had so many options once at the top. We may be coming back since we enjoyed ourselves so much.
Had terrific mid-week powder days with nearly all runs open. The ski-in, ski-out condo I stayed in was generously laid out with great parking and storage amenities. There were no ticket or lift lines to speak of.
I know conditions are largely out of their control and we’re at the mercy of Mother Nature, but it was just sheets of ice covered in loose granular. The lifts are insanely slow. Plan on very long lift lines, with no operators directing traffic, and then factor in 20 minute lift rides. This place was absolutely packed which surprised me with so many other resorts in the area. This is definitely geared more towards families. Also for a weekend, where were all the workers? One bartender? Nobody directing loading at the lifts. Watching the 6 pack go up with 3 people on it with 30 minute lines. Overall, I would say I’ll never come back, and honestly wish we just rode killington twice instead.
Great ski resort with tons of blue trails, glades, and high-speed lifts. Get there early if you want good parking. Highly recommend.
This review is mostly because of the pricing. The half day ticket pricing is not advertised on the website as you have to go to the ticket window to purchase. A full day is $170 and a half day is $150… extremely greedy pricing. But overall, I had a great time, and would come back.
Summit lifts (bubbles) are very delicate and will not be open at even the slightest hint of less than perfect weather so forget about a powder day. If you are lucky they may give you sachem to glades chairs to the top. Caution on the sachem lift as it breaks down regularly and you will probably be stuck for an extended period of time. Overall seems like lift maintenance and preparation is lacking. I am a local, have been riding this mountain for almost 35 years and love it so it really pains me to write this review but it is 100% accurate.
Nice resort with a lot of trails, but can get very crowded during the holidays, lift lines could get long at times if you were with groups of people. If you go to the opposite side of the mountain it is more open, also there is no night skiing so it closes around 4. Found and drink wasn’t outrageous for a ski resort.
Absolutely loved this place. Amazing value, they should definitely be charging more. The rooms have the classic feel without being old. Bed was comfortable. The owners have such great attention to detail with things like fresh flower arrangements in
MAKE RESERVATIONS. This place was fantastic but packed on a Saturday night (as all good places are) We did not have a reservation but were told they have walk in hour from 4-5pm, we got there at 4:30 and there was already an hour wait. Fortunately Er
This place is incredibly good. The owner cares a ton about what he does and it shows. He clearly works his tail off. Super friendly. The breakfast sandoâs were incredibly delicious and the coffee was strong and flavorful. Love these kinda sp
