Okefenokee Heritage Center - Museum in Waycross - 1460 N Augusta Ave, USA

This is an amazingly detailed local history museum and art center located not far from downtown Waycross. There is so much to see in one small museum- visit if you love history and local art!

Nice little museum with Gram Parsons exhibit

Went out for Christmas in the cross. We checked out a few vendors but mainly to take our grandkids to chk out the old train. In which they loved! Great place for the young and old.

Cool place. Kids are doing art camp for 2 weeks and love it. Lots of art work and cool artifacts inside!

Great place to be a member. They offer art, drama and music classes for children. Several community events are held here each year. They do a great veterans event in November. They also host an annual art show/contest for amateur artists.

Wonderful displays! I'm looking forward to returning. The artwork and history displays make the visit worthwhile.

Great local museum to learn about history of the area. Being able to walk through the train and touch the engine was really cool. Southern Forest World down the street had a really great building and exhibits as well.
