We just popped into Okaloosa for a cocktail and an appetizer and ended up spending a couple hours there and having a full family meal. Payton and Emma took care of our party of 9 people perfectly. We loved the Rock Start martini, the meatballs, and the fries! While we don’t live in town we have family here and visit often. We will definitely be back!
We love coming to Okaloosa for the food, service and atmosphere. However, we tried the new brunch service for the first time. Today’s visit was not a disappointment. We had the Brioche French Toast, The Sandbar Breakfast and a side of blueberry pancakes. All were exceptional in taste and at a good price. Bishop, our waiter, was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back soon!
Neat decor, the Backyard Burger and fries were good, plus our server was nice. We would go back and recommend this place to others.
Edit: Came back and tried the Cinnamon Roll dessert this time which was really yummy and not dry like most places’. Our friends got the Mojito and Bushwacker and said both were delicious.
This is a super cute restaurant in the garden district neighborhood! They have a lot of great cocktails options that are all fairly priced. Our favorite was the rockstar martini! Highly recommend that one. My husband & I split the shrimp basket which was some the best fried shrimp I’ve had in Monroe. They were hand breaded & tasted very fresh. The fries had a great seasoning on them as well. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town to try some of their other entrees & drinks!
We just hosted our office Christmas party here and had a phenomenal time! Hays was our primary contact for planning the event and was super responsive and always available. The night of the event, he accommodated to a few last minute changes, and did his best to make sure our entire group was taken care of. Catering for a group of 70 is hard, but the food was amazing and everyone in our group had a great time in their outdoor space. Easily the best location that we've hosted our office party. Would definitely recommend!!!
This place is a hidden jewel! I had the chicken with lemon butter sauce which was delicious, the Texas garlic bread was fantastic, and the mashed potatoes were perfect! We sat in the back area in the garden, which was beautiful and has some private tables that you could hang out and just have conversations for hours. The front lawn has corn hole games & the side lawn has a ping pong table. What a great place to go and hang out with friends, have good food, and a few drinks if you wish. Our waiter, Bishop was very helpful as we were going over the menu and very attentive to our needs. Looking forward to my next visit to Monroe so I can try this place out again!
I hosted a college graduation party for my daughter. They were so great in helping me plan! We had a Photo Booth set up, they made sure the space was perfect. They had heaters ready. The front lawn was PERFECT with games. The food was excellent! REQUEST HAYES FOR ANY PARTY!! He handled our group of about 50 by himself and was EXCELLENT.
Great food and service in a unique environment. Coincidentally, my dad and I were just staying the night in Monroe on the way to the Okaloosa FL area for a wedding and were looking for somewhere to eat. We were intrigued to find out this restaurant was named for the same area. It was worth the stop.
Man, oh, man. When I think of good food and where I should travel to eat good food, Monroe, Louisiana, doesn't even crack the top 100 on my list. But after eating at Parish, Monroe is in my top five! Hidden away in an industrial area, Parish comes up
Came here for some grilled oysters after a disappointing stop at another spot. Place was very nice. Great view of the river. Great service and the oystersâ¦. Chefs kiss! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was bomb too!
The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Got in quick. Was very clean. I had the Bbq Burger. It was very delicious. Loved the fries. The homemade pickles were to die for. Husband got the Shrimp Polenta. It was so good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were
