This company is very responsive. They do good work at a reasonable price. I had them put in a Radon system in my home in 2018. Recently we had a water loss. They came out and checked the system. They were prompt and professional. They were done in a few minutes. The best part was Mario and his associate were quick and friendly. Since it did not take too long, they did the work at no cost! We had a radon mitigation system installed in 2018. Per the ODH recommendations, we had two separate long-term randon measuring meters running in our house - a radon eye and an air things monitor. Throughout the seasons, the long term average levels would fluctuate between 3 pCi/L to 12 pCi/L after mitigation. We had called them up for a warranty claim in August of 2020 (which unfortunately is when our seasonal radon levels seem to be the lowest) and the levels came back 3.1 and they charge us $125 for that. Now this was using the old school charcoal filter and not a continuous monitoring solution, so who knows how much you can rely on that number. Fast forward to now, our radon levels continue to be unacceptably high, so we hire a different radon mitigation company, and it turns out they're telling us that they installed the crawlspace barrier incorrectly. So we get to spend another $1000+ getting that fixed. And this whole time our family is breathing in unsafe levels of radon.

One week ago Ohio Technical Services installed a Radon remediation system in my home. I have a half basement and big crawl space. After initial earlier testing the radon level was an average of 5.3 which is well above the 4.0 threshold. After the system was installed and ran for a few more days the average radon level fell to 1.6. All the representatives and workman were very responsive and professional. The quality of the workmanship was first rate in all respects. I could not be more pleased.

Justin was professional and knowledgeable and able to survey my home within a couple days of calling OTS for their services. I received my report and after reading through it, I have a clear understanding of the condition of my home. Thank you OTS!

OTS did an excellent job installing my radon system. They were able to meet my request to exhaust the system up through the garage attic from the basement instead of installing outside the bedrooms which was noisier. Mario and his crew made multiple visits during the whole process to make sure it was working properly and for the change order. They stand by their work and I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Rarely does a company owner take the time to follow up with customers to ensure his or her company is providing excellent customer service. Brian Hatfield, the owner of OTS, falls into the small group of business owners who do. I am not a radon professional and I can't speak to the quality of their work. It appears to be functioning and solid in its construction. Update: because of great service four years ago, elected to use again to install system on new house.
